Hi all, so it seems like the latest version completely borked FiveM for me completely. I disabled my AV, just reinstalled FiveM, and I still get a ton of errors upon trying to run the game. It’s completely broken for me, and I JUST reinstalled.
GTA V version: Idk, the latest version from steam? Just updated it this Saturday.
Up to date? Yes.
Legit or Pirate copy? Legit.
Steam/CD/Social Club? Steam
Windows version? Windows 10 Pro x64 bit
Did you try to delete caches.xml and try again? Yes. I deleted the entire FiveM.app folder and re installed from the Fivem.exe

What did you do to get this issue? After my antivirus detected Fivem.exe as a virus (Avast) I had to reinstall it since I couldn’t restore it from the chest. After that I added it to exclusions and disabled my AV.

Download the latest VC2017 redistributable. It might be the bundled one got corrupted.

Thanks!
And do I just install this and restart, or am I supposed to copy them into the Fivem bin folder or something? Would appreciate a bit more explanation. Thanks again.

It’s an installer. You install it.

Hey,
Just dropping by to give an update. so cheers, that seemed to work! But then again so did copying the vcruntime140.dll from Warframe to the Fivem folder
Not sure if this is an issue on my part or a bug with the new update of FiveM, but I’m in game now so that counts. Cheers

Hey guys I had the same problem with fivem not working when I tried playing it today? I installed the microsoft C++ thing, but Im not sure what to do with it. It was working fine last week, but now I am getting many errors upon launch. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, search online for vcruntime140.dll, or search your harddrive (especially game folders) for vcruntime140.dll, copy it, then go to %localappdata%\FiveM\FiveM.app\bin\ and paste and overwrite it!
