Awesome work @919design, @Envi-Scripts, and CFX. Keep it up!

Great work!
Awesome stuff y’all!
Well that was unexpected, great job guys! ![]()
A little inspiration from "Driver" with its famous ‘Garage Tutorial’ on ‘Street King’ mode ! GG ![]()
LOVE IT! Nostalgic entry tutorial.
Incredible work @Envi-Scripts and @919design <3
Credits to the editor TEX1G too
confused by some of the creative decisions, the readme is just “street kings” so im not sure if theres other documentation but the decision to lock it to 3rd person custom camera that is very rigid and not really great for kbam driving. interesting choice ig. also the lack of seemingly being able to exit your vehicle in gta is a bit of a bummer. ii didnt test enough so i imagine there might be special areas where you can, but not open world is weird imo. let it be chaotic.
Its under an apache license so I’m sure at some point someone will convert all the assets to be standalone/framework friendly assets. Can just use them then without camera restrictions.
thats my hope for this resource tbh because theres specific aspects i love, but was hoping for some documentation to help figure out where to look
Not trying to rain down on anyone’s parade, but were these scripts tested?
I always have to reiterate that I’m not against the use of AI, but the NOS resource hits nearly 5-6.0 resmon in some instances. Regularly, when NOS is refilling, it’s hitting 2-4.
Honestly, kind of crazy.
Edit: Yeah, this is almost entirely AI-generated with no thorough testing. Would avoid it for a few months until they fix/update it.
Appreciate the feedback, but I think those are some wild claims you are making. I did not personally write the NOS portion of this and it was tasked to the other dev but I will certainly look into your report and see what needs fixing. Just a strange way of reporting edge cases like “high resmon when nos is refilling for 15 secs” by branding it as “untested AI slop”.
I don’t think any open-source project was ever perfect from first commit - hense why its a community thing..
Your screenshot is kinda baffling too - are you running streetkings (the standalone gamemode) alongside QBX? Your graph spikes clearly show the spikes are IDENTICAL to the spikes in your qbx_smallresources so have you not considered there could be a connection there?
Your screenshot is kinda baffling too - are you running streetkings (the standalone gamemode) alongside QBX?
Huh? Why would they be connected at all?
The reason is that you are checking: GetGamePool('CVehicle') twice, ~8 times a second.
Next time, just tell Claude to use ox_lib as a rule, and it will avoid these basic mistakes and start using more efficient methods to check this. This just seems like someone put in a prompt that was “check all nearby cars” and went with the output without checking.
So rather than providing an PR to the open source project to help and provide insight so devs know the better methods to use (ox_lib vehicle pool is news to me) - you just resort to insulting people’s work to try make you feel better about the shortcuts you make in your own.
You do you man, its a common theme from some users on this platform.
I’m not insulting anything - just a basic scan/use of this of this shows it’s AI generated with no testing.
I’m not going to provide a PR/fix to a project the creators just vibe-coded with Sonnet and didn’t test.
I don’t need to prove my chops when it comes to public contributions in FiveM, so try to find something else.
Website and full docs coming soon
The vehicle camera is completely optional and can be changed and tweaked in every way inside the Phone [TAB] → Settings → Camera
We completely understand that not everyone will like every stylistic choice we have made in terms of gameplay features but as it is open-source we expect people to rip it apart and use the Framework as a starting-base like they would with any other.
Thank you for checking out the project!
Issue patched. Cheers
You should also replace all your ipairs with a classic for i=1,#data do. The result is the same, but ten times faster.
I wrote an article about loop optimisation: Optimize the performance of your FiveM and RedM scripts - Jump On Studios
Great contribution, we have been testing it all evening, great fun. Only major thing we noticed so far is when spawning from garages to city same time, we just land on top of each other.
Still I think its amazing, and cant wait for the next updates.
