Also add what you already tried so far. unplug replug, redownladed gta, five m clear cache, updated windows, ya stumped

yes i can play if steam is closed but then i cant play on the privet servers that use my steam hex as a log in. if i try right be fore i join when i move my joystick then it freezes 5M
There have been reports where a new Steam update is causing this. Namely, the Steam overlay. So I’d like you to disable the Steam overlay (globally) and see if this fixes it
