My Steam account will not connect to my FiveM. I was thinking that its just a normal problem and the solution was just keep steam open before FiveM starts but that was not the case. Steam recognizes that I am playing FiveM but FiveM cant seem to recognize that I’m on steam. I went ahead and reinstalled FiveM and GTA V two times and nothing happen. My GTA V is legit and bought off steam so I don’t know wtf is happening but it would be great if somebody could help me.

Ehm, I haven’t had this issue but can you not se settings at the top? If not try reinstalling the game

I have this right now. It does not stop me from joining any game that requires steam. It should link your account just fine and if you talk in game you will see your username. Hopefully this is the case for you as well.
Evening. I am having this too which stops me from entering my Whitelisted server which runs off my Steam ID. I have it running in the background and it has been working before this. I have tried restarting my PC, reinstalling FiveM and checking download integrity. Can anyone help?
I would make sure FiveM, Steam and your computer are up to date. That’s all I can think of. My issue lets me join servers but doesn’t display my username on startup.
Fresh reinstall of FiveM from site download already done, updated Steam, and my PC is upto date. It was working yesterday but just seems not to today.

Now that’s rather strange. Are you logged in and Steam window is open?
Yup, and one of the other server administrators reopened the whitelist to re-add my ID before restarting the server. I just don’t know what it’s playing at.

I’m really not sure. I doubt they give support for this directly but I suppose you could give it a shot and email support@fivem.net then let them know the situation?
