So i’ve setup my server but for some reason my chat dialog box does not open up when i press T/enter even though i’ve ensured it on my server.cfg file. Im also using the up to date artefact aswell.

You should check the console of the server and your own console and see if there’s any errors etc. If there is post them here and I’ll assist further!

The console is the black window with a lot of text in it btw
Oh you mean the FX server? Yeah it says “Couldn’t start resource chat”
Ok, in you server.cfg file make sure to have
ensure webpack
ensure yarn
...
ensure chat
Some resources have “dependencies”, it means that they can’t start if the dependecy isn’t started before it…
If you go and check the fxmanifest.lua (or __resouce.lua) of the resource chat you will find that it has the dependencies webpack and yarn.
In this case webpack and yarn are pre-installed resources, so you just have to make sure to have them started.
After you edited the server.cfg, start the server, you’ll notice in the console that in says something like:
webpack - building resource chat
started resource chat
Once it started you want to restart the server again until it starts the chat at the very first time and then you’re done!

I’ve tried your solution but it’s still not working. I can see on the console that it does state
webpack - building resource chat
started resource chat
But the chat dialog still doesn’t appear.
Restart the server until you don’t see It anymore, you should only see “started resource chat” like the other resources
Okay, when i keep restarting it says
Running build tasks on resources chat - it'll restart once completeted
Couldn't start resource chat
Not sure what’s causing that
Could you send me the server.cfg of your server?
Sure, i’ve sent it.
The chat is now working.
I’ve deleted the cache and done a fresh install of the chat resource and its all working.
