Welcome to Moonstone RP!
Moonstone RP is a dynamic RedM roleplaying server that prioritises creative and collaborative storytelling. Our server, set in the vibrant county of Montana Falls in 1894, is the result of our commitment to creating a server that prioritizes player experience and high-quality roleplay. Montana Falls is teeming with hidden secrets, interesting characters, and unique groups. We want to see stories from all walks of life told and experienced and rewarded. We seek to provide an experience in a world that responds to the characters and the stories that occur within it. Where every action and inaction leads to direct change in the world. We intend to have the world grow as the stories carried by players do - with scripts and features developing and expanding in a way that feels natural around our players’ stories and characters. Scripts, work, and time will always be put into where the community of Moonstone requests and shows their attention.

Creative Storytelling: We look to make this a place where storytelling is the main priority. In designing our server’s rules, we made sure that they are as flexible as possible in a way that makes sure creativity and storytelling are the main focus of the server. We aim to make intention, fun and fairness the main components that go into any scene with rules that simply support roleplay, not ruleplay. The staff will always look at situations and reports with fun and fairness at the centers and if scenes got a little messy but clearly the heart of roleplay was still the primary focus and creating fun scenes, we will always keep these elements in mind when dealing with any scenario. As with any decision made for the purpose of creating fun for everyone involved over simply what was written.

Diverse and Experienced Team: Our team consists of developers, admins, staff, moderators, artists and writers with a wealth of experience from different RP communities, including RedM, FiveM, DayZ, D&D, and even more obscure communities like Star Wars RP, VTM and many others. We tried our best to combine all the best elements from our various RP experiences, and what we learnt along the way to begin working on a server that tries to take the good, and improve on the not so good. We care deeply about our stories and those of our players, creating a welcoming environment where every player’s story can flourish and people of all kinds of RP background and experience can get creative and tell the stories they’d most like to tell! We want this to be a server with as much creativity and heart as we can! And so we have dedicated staff teams who work constantly on filling the server with character and personality.

Evolving World: As part of creating a unique, and heart-filled server, we’ve put some of our staff to work and created an Art Team and Lore Team! The Art Team has taken on the monumental task of drawing every item icon in the game, as well as unique items for players, such as unique food items, weapons, crafts etc! We’ve also introduced a Lore Team who take note of the RP and stories currently being told in Montana Falls and try to work on growing this world in a way that makes sense for the stories that are occurring in them! As the world expands and more and more scripts and activities etc are introduced, we want to make sure that the things introduced are unique, have strong identities, and occur with reason and in response to the characters, personalities, and storylines of Montana Falls.

Dynamic Crime System: Our crime system is heavily story-driven, with unique perks and rulesets for approved groups who have applied and whose RP stands out. There is an elaborate Criminal Progression System which will benefit gangs with a consistent direction, the ability to pursue your RP with others and make unique scenes and be fully rewarded for them. Through a system that rewards RP with civilians, criminals and law in any given area and one that actively was developed to avoid bias. Gangs will receive their unique items, businesses and whatever else would benefit their identity through the process with the only bar being quality of roleplay.

Business, Gangs, and Groups: We don’t like limiting creativity here. If you have a fun idea for some type of RP you want to see incorporated into the server, we are very excited to help bring those ideas to life at Moonstone! Whether it’s an idea for a weird little business of a hermit up in Ambarino that just sells special rocks (sparkly or just cool shaped), sounds fun and unique, we’re down! Want an elaborate underground gang in Saint Denis that runs a fighting ring and deals in jewels and puppies, sure! If effort is shown in both application and in roleplay, we will always try to work with getting your ideas up and running! Whether you want to play a drunken moonshiner Nomad who lives in a tent in the hills of Ambarino, A Street Busker who secretly sells some dope during his performances for a quick bit of extra cash, or a corrupt Sheriff that uses his influence to commit some less than above board dealings with the local gang, you can do that! We have a large number of civilian jobs as well as Law, Doctors, Vets/Trainers, etc, with much more content to come.

Hand-Drawn Art: Our dedicated Art Team, in addition to drawing every item in-game, will also draw unique items for your gang/group/business/tribe/and so on, as well as make a crafting book tailored to you, all with their very own unique look! Even if you’re one single person who has developed a story and character around being an inventor, we will happily work with you and look at creating a recipe book and unique items, just for you and your story. All that is required of you to see these things happen is to roleplay out your character and their storyline revolving around this, and put in an application or ticket to chat with us and let us know what you have in mind! With successful applications, we will aim to do our best to represent your chosen items in a style similar to Arthur Morgan’s in the base game.

Anti-Grind Philosophy: We want people’s time in this roleplay server, to be free enough of the dreaded grind to allow roleplay to always be the focus. While people can still grind if that’s what they want, we aim to have money be relatively unnecessary for your survival within the county and basic living affordable. Every horse can be caught and tamed for free, without having to have a specific job. You begin with a full kit, that ensures you have all you need when first arriving in Montana Falls with a cute guide that fills you in on all you need to know about the county, as well as plenty of tips and info, including easy ways to make money and hints about other activities and occupations you can look into! All the jobs are designed to make a similar amount of money over the same amount of time to allow you to pursue what you want and what suits your character most, without having to worry about the meta way of existing in county.

No Monetization! We noticed many of the servers we joined or experienced included a monetised aspect to their VIP or contributor services that gave in game benefits. Our server will never do this and any money donated will not bring any in game player benefits!

Player-Centric Approach: We know that the most important part of any RP server is its community. And so we make sure to hold Monthly Community Meetings so we are making sure we hear from you and make sure this community is shaping up into one we can be proud of with a server that reflects its community. Here we can answer any of your questions, can keep you updated on what’s going on behind the scenes, let you know about plans for the future, as well as having community updates from members from law, doctors, business owners, crims, and so on and take active feedback to ensure we are doing all we can do to facilitate fun roleplay and stories.
