As soon as i open FiveM my microphone starts stuttering. And its ONLY fiveM… not discord, CS GO or any other application. Even before i join a server it starts. I can hear it because i have “listen to my microphone” turned ON… Its stuttering… Even when minimized. As long as FiveM is running. the mic i stuttering. And as soon as i close the fiveM.exe. It works perfectly agian.

What are you trying to do?

Just trying to play.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

Reinstalling FiveM. and tried to search if other people had the same problem

Error screenshot (if any):

What did you do to get this issue?

Nothing. Just opened FiveM. and boom. Stutter.

What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful!

NewDayRP - Danish RP Server. but agian… even before i join any server. It starts.

Additional comments

I know its not my internet or anything like that. I see alot of people commenting on that in other peoples request. But yesterday i played without problems… today after FiveM had problems with the CFX so we couldnt connect the server… Boom. Stutter as soon as i open FiveM without even picking a server to play on. So its not sensitivity… Its not my mic which dont work. Cause it does.

Funny, I had this problem… but don’t happen if I do not use voicemod. It’s strange.

Yeah this issue doesn’t seem to be FiveM specific, perhaps a hz mismatch?
e.g. Raw Mic Input is at 44100 Hz and the modified output is 48000 Hz.
This causes weird stuff assuming you’re using some sort of post-processing on your mic

I found the issue. the new Steam Overlay somehow made it do the stuttering.
