Good morning, like many people, I also play fivem
when I enter a server, but after I press exit the server and return to the initial screen of fivem and I try to enter another server, the message appears “waiting for the game to close” and I really wanted to know why this happens, since it interferes with the connectivity forcing the person to close fivem and open it again
Or you know… you could just wait for the game to fully close? It usually takes less than a minute.
On another note, it happens because the game is in the process of closing. I would assume the same thing happens when you exit GTA 5 itself, but because you don’t try to open it again instantly, you don’t realise the time it takes for it to fully shut 
I don’t think I understood your answer very well 
but about that message I spoke about… just now I left a server but I didn’t leave fivem and then I went to enter another server and it gave the same message and then I waited a few minutes but nothing changed
