MelbRP now has much better properties available within the city with lots of furniture to decorate.

New Banking System

• We are introducing a new banking system to help out newer players access their bank accounts.
• If you try and access an ATM first, you will get a notification to head to a bank and set a pin.
• Go to a bank and access the bank menu then choose settings.
• Create a new pin. This will be used when accessing your account at an ATM.
• Accounts will begin with “MRP”. When changing your Account Number (through settings), you do not need to add “MRP”, this is done automatically.
• You can only transfer money via ATM/Bank to another player that is online. It will not send money successfully if the receiver of funds is offline (The phone banking app will still allow you to transfer funds to another player when they’re offline by using their phone number)

General Changes

• My Little Pony Bandaids will now heal a player by a small amount (less than a bandage/gauze)
• A new gauze crafting recipe has been added.
• Added the ability to get out of a car and leave the engine running. (Hold F to leave the car running when you get out)
• PDM “Imports” vehicle category has been broken down into multiple categories. This should allow users to locate specific import vehicles easily, and assist with PDM loading times.
• Accident effects have been tuned and re-added into the server
• Inventory will now switch correctly upon using the relog command.
• Stretcher menu has now been added for paramedics.
• Police impound has been tweaked to have a max impound time of 6 hours.
• Bunnings Snags are now available to buy at Bunnings.

New Character Experience

• Upon arriving at the airport, the clothes that you specified in the initial character creator will be applied so you don’t have to do it all over again.
• F2 menu has had a fairly major re-design to be more intuitive and helpful to new players
• Added a new task list for the common “getting started” tasks in the city. In future we’d like to make this more dynamic, adapting to remove tasks you’ve already done. Selecting one of these options might give you a GPS coordinate or explain a particular system.
• Labels have been added to the side-menu to improve legibility. The old tooltips have been removed.

Vehicle Fixes

• Vehicle damage has been fixed so engines will no longer fail after 1 kick, durability has been increased across the board.
• Ford Territory and the K9 Toyota have received a new livery.
• Fixed and added Car accident effects.

New Drug

• Mushrooms have now been introduced into the city.
• You’ll find these in a certain spot out in the world. Ask around for more info.
• There is no formula to be obtained for bagging mushrooms, check your crafting books to see the recipe.
• There is also no crafting location needed when bagging mushrooms.
• Yes, you can eat the bagged product to go on a little trip

NEW Cigarette Smoking

• You can now smoke cigarettes!
• Winfield Blue and JPS Gold are available from 7/11 Servos.
• Don’t forget to pick up a lighter, and make sure your mates don’t flog em
• Use the smoke packs to get 20x ciggies.
• Then use the ciggies from your hotbar/inventory.
• Press E to smoke, X to cancel.

General Changes

• Double food/drink props no longer happen when eating and drinking. A full animation rework is in progress for all food and drink items.
• 3 different kinds of donuts have been added into 7/11 Servos. Iced Donut, Jam Donut and KK’s Donuts. Get them while they’re fresh.

Job Wage Increase

• Farmer: One full farming job now nets you $20,000
• Pool Cleaner: Income has been doubled.
• Garbage Collection: Incrased to $7,600 max pay per stop.
• Taxi Driver: Increased to $3,000 - $5,000 from $1,500-$4,000
• Amazon Delivery Driver: Distance wage multiplier increased to 1.55, from 1.35.

Garage Changes

• Public Garage script has been rewritten to be a lot more efficient.
• All vehicle categories will now show correctly.
• All vehicle categories and the vehicles under each will appear immediately, there is no longer a pause between the steps, allowing you to get your cars out of the garage faster than ever before!

The team at MelbRP has been working hard to pump out new changes, features, and bug fixes over the last few weeks. We’ve done a lot of optimisation on scripts to ensure the server continues to run smoothly.

Binoculars are now available

• Binoculars are now available in Ammunation stores.
• Use your mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out.

General Changes

• Resolved a bug with transferring money with the phone app to player ID.
• Resolved a bug with some vehicle categories not have the correct label in the new garage system.
• The entire city has had a bit of a Christmas makeover. You’ll now find Christmas decorations all across town.
• There’s been a slight change in weather, it’s been snowing randomly in Melbourne. IN SUMMER?!
