Mapping loading error

Mapping loading error, I’ve created a mapping, I don’t know why when I enter the mapping and visit the mapping at a certain point, the mapping is no longer displayed.

by the look of it, way too many tris

check in blender, should be 32k or less

I think it’s because I did the maze in one part

Another thing that can cause flickering is on the bounding box for the ytyps. Make sure that’s actually covering the entire model of what you’re trying to display…

Its my first mapping, u think i need to create a bounds box in blender ?

Hmmm…No - although, for an airport I was working on, there was a moment, where I had to manually edit the bounding boxes manually in the .ytyp (i can’t for the life of me remember why). If you ever need to do this, open your file in openIV / codewalker rpf explorer, then you can extract to ytyp.xml

For now, however, I think you should:

  1. Import all of your map files within codewalker’s project menu (ymap, ydrs, ytyps, (I don’t think ybns are needed)
  2. In the project window, click “Calculate all flags” and “Calculate extents” - this should change the distance that players start streaming (aka spawning) your map
  3. From there, save the files, and re-load them back into your fiveM server.

Try that first. If that doesn’t work, then try the xml manual edit…

Note: If you’re truly over 32k triangles / the vertices limit, these steps probably won’t make a difference.

Without collisions i have 23k tris

And with i have 47k

But with another, I can go a little further

Colision make x2, if one have idea how we can reduces this

In total i have 46k of tris

So if i make 2 ymap’s, i think its good ← change nothing
