Malware being detected?

So, I’m not too worried about this, but I wanted to know if it’s a false positive or not.

When I start FiveM, my antivirus gives me multiple warnings and like “Don’t worry, I’ve stopped this file from hurting your computer”, with the message saying things like “Infected webpage detected”, or “Infected web resource detected”.

Along with these messages, when I open them for details I get a message like this.

“This webpage http://...*:30120/info.json is identified as infected with malware. The webpage has been successfully blocked by Antimalware filter and your PC is now safe.”

“The application fivem.exe accesses a web resource http://..**.*:30120/info.json that has been detected as infected. The web resource has been successfully blocked and your PC is now safe.”

I blocked out parts of it because it’s a hosted server’s IP address, or I assume so because with all the multiple warnings, I get different IP addresses.

Considering JSON files are just for configuration mostly, like I said I’m not too worried about it, but I just wanted to know if others where experiencing this or if it’s known about then let me know.

This is the text that’s in one of the info.json files, if someone wants or needs reference.

Try adding an exception to the FiveM root directory in your AV.
Better yet just remove it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I guess your antivirus software somehow broadly blacklists a bunch of IP addresses, and one of those is used by a person hosting a server now (probably a VPS provider or similar).

Moved this to support as it’s not really a bug report.
