Hello iv’e being looking for any PoliceRole Play dev’s that are good with scripts and knowing how to add the simple /me /pm /do and so on! - I am also very new to this i just bought a server but can understand very well on being touht how to do things

@Smore /me /do and /pm are already available for download. Requires essentialmode base. Handsup, cuff and more are already available too. /911 /dispatch as well.
? im confused i did install essentialmode just when i type /me or /pm or any other commands nothing shows up
@Smore they are separate scripts used as resources. They are dependent on essentialmode base. The only command that comes with essential mode is /help.
Well I mean i really dont understand either how to install essentialmode i need help with the install thats why i asked for a dev as well
@Smore your paying monthly for a server, right? Do they not offer assistance? The instructions on how to install essential mode are listed where you download it. What problems are you having? Did you set up the database? Can you code a game mode? Es_example_gamemode is just an example to spawn the player once. They will not respawn after death.
Idk how to do anything accept add mods and thats it i dont even know where to find the autoresourcestart file
@Smore well I would suggest to read through the forums. Research and start to learn Lua as well. You joined the forum 20hrs ago man. Most ppl that doing the RP thing seen SoE on twitch and thought it would be easy. There is over a yr of development that went into that server. And to be honest no one is going to do it for you. I’ve only had one person actually give me help. The rest say " learn Lua and get to work". So that’s what I’ve been doing. Hiring a developer is expensive.
Yes i know im not one of thos kids that come in all excited saying im a own a server i have experience from gmod /minecraft and arma 3 but only skin texturing adding cars and modeling
do you have to make the autoresource file or can you find it and where would that be?
@Smore I spent hours and hours last night trying to get 8 lines of code to work. The frustration, the feeling I’ll never get it, but this is something I want to learn. And let me tell ya, when those 8 lines of code worked. The feeling was amazing! It pushed me to learn more.
@Smore I believe your referring to the citmp-server.yml. this is where you add the resources that you have in your resources folder.
yea i didnt notice it was in the config but it is and i do know about that.
ik i have essentialmode just i need to figure out where to put the sql and thats it -.-
