In early 2022, Let’s RP was launched to do things differently in the GTA roleplay space. We have fostered a culture of trust and transparancy to create the premier FiveM server for storytelling, character development and content-driven roleplay. Since then, we have grown to over 300 players whitelisted across the UK, EU & US - and Let’s RP has become known for its high-calibre drama and emotional character arcs.

How have we done this? By empowering Cinematic Roleplay.

“Cinematic” is the unique server culture that Let’s RP and its players adhere to.

Imagine this scenario. You join a roleplay server, spend weeks - perhaps months - building a gang and developing a conflict with a rival. The time finally comes to settle the beef with an epic fight. Within 30 seconds, all of your members are bleeding out on the ground waiting for EMS after being one-tapped.

Anticlimactic, right?

That’s why we do things differently. Our LEOs and criminals extend gunfights, chases and other potentially cinematic scenes to maximise the storytelling and character development in every encounter. Thanks to our players buying in to this style of roleplay, it is this culture that newcomers experience with when they fly in to the city - and often the reason they stick around!

Our culture also holds no place for toxicity or the “win mentality” which hampers other FiveM servers and stifles true story progression. Our rules of engagement for cops and criminals alike ensures the best possible outcomes for players on both sides as well as providing ample avenues of roleplay for everyone in between. Our rules and our culture are moderated by our dedicated admin team - ensuring all reports and ModMails are addressed as quickly and as fairly as possible.

Our in-house development team of programmers, texture artists and clothing experts meet regularly to respond to bug reports and player suggestions as well as creating custom scripts and experiences exclusive to Let’s RP - such as our criminal heists and custom civilian businesses. They are aided by a dedicated support team, assisting players old and new in navigating FiveM and GTA RP.

Our support for the content of our players extends beyond the confines of the game itself. Our content team supports all of our streamers and content creators in highlighting their work and contributions to our city. Our team curates an in-character intranet (EyeFind) as well as supporting our local Weazel News outlet which our local journalists and news reporters can contribute to (and get paid for). We also host the Let’s RP Wiki as well as the Let’s RP Trading Card Game. Our staff team works closely with players to create and engage with unqiue one-off and multi-part events (such as our popular month-long Halloween storylines and themed seasonal events).

Great server, can’t recommend it enough. RP really is enjoyable for all on here, the staff team is so helpful and supportive. The RP is taken seriously, but the RP itself is not always super serious. It’s a perfect balance to allow things to thrive and flourish.

Hello folks!

We launched our 1.5.0 update two days ago and have been delighted with the feedback! Here’s the broadstrokes!

- You can now fully customise the way your HUD looks for you. You can change the icons that show your health/hunger/talking etc to your liking - as well how your map looks etc.

** - Every vehicle now also has a brand new radio - where you can set up YouTube music links to play your favourite songs for you & your character’s friends (streamer mode on standby)**

** - We have completely overhauled the way in which you can customise your vehicles with the implementation of the new Tuner Shop (Apex Autos) this will be a fully RP’d experience going forward, and thus the self-serve option at Mechanics has been removed and replaced with repair stations across the map.**

** - We have added in our new City Hall, which comes with a Court, Mayor’s Office and voting booths. So yes, there will be an Election for Character’s to get involved in (more on this soon).**

Hello, me again! Another raft of updates recently!

  • Implemented high-phone which has opened up a lot of opportunities
  • Vehicle sharing
  • Launched our nightclub (Club Scarlet) and bowling alley (FiveBall), with sound systems / bowling scripts.
  • Released our in-character internet for LifeInvader / news articles from our journalists / player business advertisements etc.

Not only is our first Mayoral election underway, but we also had a very exciting event last night as The Lost finally pushed the police Commissioner too far! Full highlights of the event will be coming soon.

We have also been thrilled to hit a new all-time player record. So thank you to anyone who has checked us out or joined us on this adventure. We’re only four months out from launch and still growing - so there has never been a better time to join us if you’re looking for a new city!

Our developers have created entirely custom scripts for this update, making these heists exclusive to Let’s RP!

This update follows on from major updates bringing farming and firefighting to our server. With our EMS and civilians getting some nice treats recently, it was time to give some love to the crims!

Hello folks!

Let’s RP is now over one year old and we’re delighted with the support that we have been shown since arriving on the scene!

Earlier this month we launched our Anniversary Update! Included in Update 1.9.5 was the first season of the Let’s RP Trading Card Game! A massive thank you to our lead on this project, Momo, and the developers for implementing their vision. It was a wonderful opportunity to look back at all the characters and events of the first twelve months of the server and immortalise them with a new, collectable server mechanic!

We have also launched the Let’s RP Wiki and opened the floodgates for our players to document the history of their characters for all to see and look back on in the months (and years) to come!

Let’s RP continues to grow and as we get our second year underway, there has never been a better time to jump in and join us!

Los Santos & Blaine County have been rejuevenated following a series of devastating wildfires and attacks.

New business and Government hubs have been established, intending to give players a more fulfilling roleplay experience.

In March 2022, Let’s RP was launched to create a unique experience for new and seasoned roleplayers alike.

Blending serious roleplay and robust character development with fun, cinematic and consequential storytelling. We decided to create a culture where ‘winning’ was not the objective and where every player felt they could be in the spotlight.

Where Let’s RP 1.0 laid the foundations for a new type of roleplay server, 2.0 took it to the next level. Expanding law enforcement and medical operations, introducing numerous civilian activities, as well as setting criminals the goal of mastering a series of heists to claim the ultimate score - with experiences created exclusively for Let’s RP by our in-house Development Team.

All the while, Let’s RP supported a range of player-run events and server-wide set pieces and storylines - with environmental storytelling unlike anything seen elsewhere in FiveM.

On Friday, June 27th, we will be introducing Let’s RP 3.0.

Lets RP 3.0

Let’s RP 3.0 is a fresh start, with new lore and a new economy built from the ground up on a new framework using our years of experience to craft an experience that is both fun and rewarding for every kind of player. An exciting prospect for our existing community to wipe the slate clean and the perfect jumping-on point for new players, with beginners introduced to the world of Let’s RP by our Support Team.

We are reintroducing fan-favourite locations and features, while reworking existing jobs, activities and mechanics to keep players engaged with roleplaying opportunities no matter their chosen path. Including an entirely new wholesalers and delivery feature for food businesses.

For the entrepreneurs, we have a wide variety of businesses to invest in – from private rooftop clubs to beloved fast-food outlets. For those on the ambiguous side of the law, there’s no shortage of ways to earn – from car boosting to grave robbing. As is our style, there will also be an abundance of secrets to discover as you explore Los Santos and Blaine County.

Both player-led and seasonal events will once again be fully supported by the Let’s RP team. Our Content Team will be working to ensure that every player and character is given the opportunity to shine, and that all of our content creators feel confident enough to share and highlight their own work as part of our supportive community.

We don’t believe toxicity has any place in a roleplaying community – and our decision to fight back against ‘win mentality’ has created a welcoming environment, supported by our experienced Admin Team who take any player’s concerns seriously.

In our fourth year, we are using our wide range of experience and everything that our players have taught us to modernize the FiveM experience once again, in order to keep Let’s RP the best place to roleplay.

The Narcotics Update is our first major update for Let’s RP 3.0 - incorporating new pre-planned features as well as raft of community suggested improvements.

As the title may suggest, we are introducing an overhaul of our drug production and distribution systems - alongside other criminal activities! Obviously to keep things fair we will have to keep the finer details for you to discover, but we hope that you will find these new systems engaging and rewarding - both in and out of character - whether you’re running a small side hustle, or building a criminal empire.

For the multi-taskers amongst our players, we’re re-introducing the multi-job system. So, for example, you can take a job working at UwU or Burgershot while still taking up farming or trucking alongside.

New functionality has been added to some existing jobs and businesses, while quality of life improvements have been introduced across the board.

There’s a whole lot more to find, so, keep a look out for the full patch notes on our Discord when they drop later this week as the Narcotics Update goes live this Saturday!

Update v3.1.0 - The Narcotics Update

New Additions

  • Methamphetamine

    • Acquire meth crafting tables, and place them around the map
    • Collect and mix different meth ingredients together, with different ingredient mixes giving different purities
    • Gain experience from cooking meth to gather knowledge on different strains
    • Process 100 different meth strains containing different buffs and prices

  • Powder and Crack Cocaine

    • Grow cocaine plants, and process different purities using coke tables
    • Choose to process either powder or crack cocaine
    • Features present for meth also apply to cocaine

  • Drug Selling – new drug selling system, allowing locals to be alt-eyed in certain regions

  • Weed Bagging – using baggy items now allows players to easily bag weed plants. No more hidden weed processing man!

  • Black Markets – black market dealers now appear only in one location, until the police find and arrest the dealer…

  • Multiple Jobs – players can now have multiple jobs! You can select a second job from the Job Centre

  • Music App – you can now find player music on your phone’s music app!

  • Hospital Phone – players now keep their phones upon force respawning

  • Cat Café Food – UwU cat café items now display custom food props for each food/drink item

  • Weazel News – new equipment purchasable, with the News App now locked to more experienced employees

  • Vehicle Flipping – players can now phone Mechanics to come and flip their vehicles back over

  • DJ Booths – DJ booths have been re-added to previous locations, and some new!

Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Hunger and Thirst – it now takes longer for players to become hungry and thirsty
  • Vehicle Fuelling – vehicles now need less fuel, and are significantly faster to fill
  • Job Centre Blip – the Job Centre map blip has been changed, so it can be easier identified by new players
  • Lucky Wheel – prizes have been re-adjusted, keeping prizes high whilst making them slightly harder to win. New mystery prizes too
  • Burger Drive-Through – you can now interact with the BurgerShot drive-through counter from your vehicle
  • BurgerShot Menu – chicken ingredients have been simplified to avoid confusion. Creampie and Rimjobs have also been added
  • EMS Check-In – you can now check-in to the hospital with up to 3 EMS staff online
  • Apartment Stashes – stashes in apartments have been greatly increased
  • PD Fines – recommended fines for police are now far more balanced
  • Food Order Tickets – order tickets for food deliveries no longer display the incorrect business name
  • /clearooc – this command should now correctly clear your top left menu text
  • Vehicle Items – duct tape and cleaning kits should now operate correctly
  • Diving Refills – missing refill item is now purchasable at the Sea Word on the pier. Missing icon image is also fixed
  • Oxy Runs – Oxy runs are now worth more per run, with Oxy also now being sellable too
  • Taxi Job – NPC taxi job is now worth more too, with further improvements coming in the future
  • Boat Prices – boat prices are now properly economised
  • Trucking Locations – we have moved (and added) a lot of trucking locations
  • Armoured Trucks – these robberies are now easier, but alert PD earlier too
  • Car Dealership – PDM is now self-service again, allowing players to easily buy their own dream cars
  • Services App – new businesses have been added to the phone Services App

Removals

  • Weed Processing Man – hidden ped no longer needed now players can use baggies instead
