Welcome to Just RP. We are a medium roleplay, text-based community inspired by the classic SA-MP roleplay servers a lot of us grew up on.

The philosophy is simple: Character development and good stories matter more than simulating every little detail of daily life.

What we expect from you:
We want roleplay here to feel natural.

  • Play your character believably.
  • Respect the world you’re in.
  • Give other people something to work with.

Whether you end up working an honest job, running a business, joining the PD or EMS, or falling in with the wrong crowd, your story comes down to the people you meet and the choices you make along the way.

Our “Medium RP” Philosophy:
Being “medium RP” means we care about realism, but we’re not going to argue with you over every technicality.

  • Common sense and fair play go a lot further here than rules-lawyering.
  • RP should be fun and easy to get into, while still having enough depth that sticking with a character long-term actually pays off.

The City’s Heartbeat:
Nobody’s character is the main character. The city grows out of the friendships, rivalries, deals, and dumb situations that everyone gets into together. The best roleplayers are the ones who create opportunities for others and let stories play out however they play out — even when it doesn’t go their way.

If you’ve been roleplaying for years, you’ll feel right at home. If this is your first text-based server, that’s great too — everyone here started somewhere, and you’ll pick it up fast.

A real spray paint experience for users to take advantage of in-game. No fullscreen GUI, no pre-made decals — you paint directly on the wall, in the world, with your crosshair.

  • Aim with your crosshair, hold LMB to spray, hold RMB to erase
  • Realistic spray behavior: soft airbrushed coverage with configurable pressure and spread — move your hand faster and the coat gets lighter, just like a real can
  • Spray, marker, and eraser tools; 12-color palette plus a full custom color picker
  • Undo / redo / clear at any point
  • Tagging animation with attached spray can prop while you paint

  • Place the canvas on any near-vertical surface — scroll to resize, arrow keys to tilt
  • Press G mid-drawing to pick the billboard up and reposition — your artwork follows, nothing is lost

  • Compact side panel — opens only when you want it
  • Sliders for brush size, pressure, spread, and opacity
  • Import / export: share finished designs as copyable codes

  • Nearby players see your graffiti drawn stroke-by-stroke in real time
  • Finished pieces are saved and lazily streamed to players entering the area

  • All sprays stored in MySQL (auto-setup)
  • Survive server restarts
  • Per-player spray limits and cooldowns
  • Owners can erase their own work; staff can erase anything

  • Zero per-frame cost when no spray is on screen

This HUD was created with inspiration from the classic GTA:SA HUD, while taking inspiration from PR-RP for the vehicle HUD.

  • Classic San Andreas aesthetic — clean, minimal, and instantly recognizable
  • Health, armor, and hunger/thirst indicators in the signature GTASA style
  • Money display with the iconic green dollar format
  • Time and date display in the top-right corner

PR-RP Inspired Vehicle HUD

  • Full vehicle status display: speed, RPM, fuel level, and gear indicator
  • Engine temperature and oil pressure readouts for immersive driving
  • Speed measured in KM/H or MPH — fully configurable
  • Turn signal indicators and high-beam alert
  • Real-time vehicle health and damage reporting

  • /me — Action — Used to describe what your character is doing.
    Example: /me Looks around → * John Doe Looks around
    Visible to everyone in the area.

  • /do — Environment — Describes the environment, sounds, or contextual details.
    Example: /do Helicopter sounds... → * Helicopter sounds... ((John Doe))
    Great for setting the scene.

  • /low — Whisper — Quiet speech intended for those very close to you.
    Range: ~5 meters
    Perfect for secrets or private conversations.

  • Normal Speech — Standard speech for everyday communication.
    Range: ~15-20 meters
    Your go-to command for most interactions.

  • /b — OOC / Meta — Used for out-of-character communication.
    Global range — visible to everyone on the server.
    Keep it clean and use sparingly.

  • /shout — Shout — Loud speech for getting attention across distances.
    Range: ~50-100 meters
    Ideal for emergencies or calling out.

  • /ame — Short Action — Quick actions displayed next to your name.
    Example: /ame Nods → John Doe nods
    Perfect for quick reactions.
