Just getting a yellow screen of the background, nothing else

Up to date? yes
Legit or Pirate copy? Legit
Steam/CD/Social Club? Social Club
Windows version? windows 7 (i know it says on launch they dont support it but since people help out here i thought i might aswell give it a try)
Did you try to delete caches.xml and try again? yes
Error screenshot (if any) it doesnt really require it, just showing the FiveM background, no gui
System specifications i7 2670QM 2.20GHz, ram 8gb, gpu: switchable graphics IntelHD something and amd radeon hd 6770m
What did you do to get this issue? start fivem
What server did you get this issue on? i dont get any gui in general, in the main menu when starting the fivem, and when i use the console to connect to a server, i login everything is fine but i dont see any gui thats a part of fivem/the server, only the normal gta gui.

Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? i dont have one

i’ve tried reinstalling both gta v and fivem, tried compatibility modes, im able to use the f8 console, but thats the only thing from the fivem GUI that i can see, i can connect to a server, it downloads all the files and connects fine, but when i get on, i dont see any of the GUI from the server/fivem, like it says press m to open the menu, i press it i dont see it, i know it opened because when i went to the ‘bank’ and tried to chat, i can’t move, so i know im in the UI, i just cant see it, so untill i press esc i cant move. im able to play sp and gta online without any problems

this is a known issue with FiveM and AMD mobile graphics, this is not FiveM’s fault however as it has to do with the AMD drivers and even more so for you as its a much older one.

Nope, there’s no way to do such unless you’re a big AAA studio. People (not just us) have been trying to get this fixed for years , only ending up ignored by AMD whenever posting this on their forums, bug report forms, or other channels available to the public without special partnership with AMD.

The latest on this issue can be seen around this comment , which indicates AMD is doing some really weird things to make it impossible to run the UI on the right GPU.

oh, but im actually using non official drivers because the latest official ones are outdated as hell, like last they came out in 2012, so im using drivers from http://leshcatlabs.net/ because they work better with literally almost all games, got my fps from like 20 to 50 in a lot of newer games, is there no way even using the modded driver? i know they are from 2016, but as i said they are very good so it might help a lot of players who want to play fivem on older laptops with amd switchable graphics

Upgrade to Windows 10. This is unfixable on 7, however there’s a potential fix committed to FiveM canary for 8.1/10 - however it’s unconfirmed for pre-GCN cards of course.

sounds great, i was planning on upgrading to windows 10 soon anyways, was just postponing it cause i would have to redowonload a lot of stuff, but if there is a chance it will be fixed i will take it. Thanks
