So I’m a part of an esx server and I’m just curious on something for jobs the owner of the server doesn’t know how to add other jobs for police (right now the ranking is cadet officer Sgt lt and chief) he wants to add corporal etc and he doesn’t know how if anyone has time please answer with how you can add other rankings like lets say even detective thanks!
I don’t understand why you are coming on behalf of the owner of this server. There isn’t a point in you being the middle man here.
Consult the developers of whichever resource the server is using to actually create these jobs, or better, view the documentation (if it exists) for these resources. If neither of these work, look at the code, see how they’re being added and how each job is being determined, then copy the code and change the appropriate variables in order to account for different jobs.
If the owner doesn’t know how to do this, maybe
- running a server isn’t for him
- relying on frameworks that have poor documentation is a bad idea, especially if you don’t have any scripting knowledge
- he should get somebody else to do development work on the server
