The title saying all
yes, find the command you want to disable in your code and delete it.
I want to disable the command
without delete the command from the code
Then instead of deleting it comment it out with
--[[
Code
]]--
… I want to disable the command without touch the code. Maybe can I register the command again?
You cannot disable a command without touching any code.
Why are you so against touching the code? By simply commenting the register command event out it will disable the command.
First of all, you have to touch the code… Just comment out the section or change it to something random so when people try to type it it doesn’t come up (i know it’s dumb but it’s a way of changing it without touching “too much” code…) If you’re afraid of touching the code, make a backup of that file so you can just paste it back if anything “goes wrong”
It is possible. Create another script that registers the command again, but just an empty function. As long as you’re loading it after the first script, it will override the first one. Easy.
