Issue with fullscreen mode on laptop

Up to date? yes
Legit or Pirate copy? legit
Steam/CD/Social Club? steam
Windows version? 10pro 1511 x64
(nothing changes with latest builds they just kill overall performance of my pc)
Did you try to delete caches.xml and try again? no

i5 4200m
nv gt750m with intel hd 4600 for desktop rendering (nvidia optimus)
12gb ram
What did you do to get this issue? alt-tab my game
What server did you get this issue on? any server

Setting in-game settings doesn’t help also alt-enter tries to set the game fullscreen but after a few seconds of black screen it goes windowed again. Original game works fullscreen just fine.
Any opinions on how to fix this?

1511? Windows 10 is at 1903 why are you so far behind? updating to 1903 wont hinder your performance unless you are stuck on a update loop which could happen going from 1511.

Update Windows or re-install windows with the latest 1903 update using the windows media creation tool.

As I mentioned before this issue is still present with the latest w10 build. I think there’s something with fivem and nvidia optimus.

not sure, i have never used it alt+enter does nothing? regardless you should update as you will run into different issues later on.

alt+enter tries to force the game go fullscreen but no luck (this showed in the second part of video after alt+tab) the monitor blinks as it should be but then it’s still in windowed mode.
Also trying to set it fullscreen from game options does the same thing.

Yes, but we can’t resolve any such issues as NVIDIA does not offer any API for controlling Optimus or diagnosing issues involving it. You’ll have to ask NVIDIA to fix it or provide us with documentation on it.
