Is their a standard trailer towing script?

Is there any way to edit an existing vehicle in gta or an addon vehicle to be able to tow the normal in game trailers like a boat trailer? I’m trying to get an addon vehicle to tow a boat but I’m not having any luck finding the segment of code that relates to towing. I’ve tried adding to the trailers line in the vehicle.meta file to match an existing towing vehicle but that was unsuccessful…

you can add a trailer to any addon vehicle. You have to edit the addon cars data under vehicles.meta search for line and add FLAG_ATTACH_TRAILER_ON_HIGHWAY FLAG_ATTACH_TRAILER_IN_CITY

then go down a few lines to and add name of trailer model here you might be able to add a car name there and see if it works. so it would look like rubicon

I tried this and the vehicle was still unable to connect a trailer. Also - couldn’t find the link you were referring to, I could only that information posted by Willief23

That release is a trailer that can carry any vehicle or boat. I’m looking for a script that allows any vehicle of your choosing to tow the trailer.

I just tried using the exact vehicles.meta file from a vehicle that can tow and just changed the model name to one of the addon vehicles and it still can’t tow… I’m beginning to think this towing thing may not be possible?

This is right but as far as i know you also need to add a attach_female point in your yft files both hi and normal. attach_female is the fysical point where your trailer snaps to. If you dont believe me open yft of the bizon in openiv you will see in the side bar an attach_female. Now open an not trailer hitchet vehicle and you wont see that.
