Is Steam GTA V required?

Do I need the steam bought version of GTA V in order to play GTA RP? Or can I purchase a digital rockstar code from GameStop and still play.

Any legitimate version of GTA:V will work. (So that’s either the steam or the social club version)

so ive just purchased gtav from the rockstar site , ive seen multiple tutorials on youtube , im following them all but im really strugling yo find the gtav.exe that i need , anyone had this issue

No? You don’t need to find the executable, just read the window title. You need the folder.

C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V
