Introducing FiveM Map Editor - BLVCK Map Editor by CodeM

CFX

CodeM BLVCK Map Editor is a professional-grade, in-game 3D map editor for FiveM. Place props, vehicles, and peds anywhere in the world with a freecam and 3D gizmo. Add dynamic lights with volumetric laser beams, particle effects, and object motions. Edit with other admins in real-time co-op. Schedule maps to activate at specific times. Go live to spawn your build for all players instantly. Share and download maps from a cross-server community catalogue. Export to JSON, ymap, Lua, or a complete standalone FiveM resource.

No framework. No database. No dependencies. Just ensure and build.

Home Screen & Community Catalogue

Start from the home screen: create new projects, open saved maps, organize into folders, or browse the Community Catalogue - maps shared by other servers with star ratings, author avatars, and one-click download. “Get started” tutorial cards walk new users through the basics: open a project, pick a prop, save and publish. Search across 16,000+ props by name.

Object Placement & 3D Gizmo

Select any object and use the 3D gizmo to move, rotate, and scale with axis handles. The top hint bar shows every available control for the current mode. Search props by name with smart suggestions (“screen” → cctv, monitor, scm, arcade, screens, cam). Categories filter results instantly. Right panel shows position, rotation, motion type, anchor point, and opacity. “NO COLLISION” badge for props with collision disabled.

Brush Paint Mode

Area fill brush for painting objects in bulk. Select a prop, switch to Paint mode, hold left-click and drag to paint. Circle or polygon brush shape with configurable radius (6m shown) and density (6 per stroke). Scroll to adjust radius, Ctrl+scroll to adjust stroke density, E to toggle eraser. Placed 42 palm trees in one stroke - 60 of 444 props shown. Perfect for forests, fences, parking lots, and any repeated layout.

Prefabs (Sets) & Inspector

Save groups of objects as reusable prefab sets. “Xmas Tree” (2 objects), “Barrel” (4 objects) - each with a thumbnail preview. Select objects, name the set, save to “Mine” or share with your team. Place entire sets with one click. Right panel shows the selected prop’s full inspector: position, rotation, motion (Still/Spinning/Floating/Swaying/Orbiting), opacity, and LOD distance. Freecam hint bar at the top with WASD/Space/Scroll/Speed/Esc controls.

Layers & Object Organization

Organize objects into named layers with visibility, lock, and settings controls per layer. “Rope 1” layer with 4 rope props - each row shows the prop name with visibility/lock/color toggles. Search and filter across layers. Ctrl for one-by-one selection, Shift for range selection. Drag rows onto layers to reassign. Right panel shows the selected prop (prop_palm_med_01b) with full transform controls.

Lights, Lasers & Effects

Add dynamic lights from the Effects panel. Three light shapes: All Around (point light), Light (directional), and Laser (volumetric beam). Right panel controls: position (XYZ), light shape, motion (Stays, Left-right, Up-down, Circle, Figure 8), effects (Flashes, Colour cycle), RGB color grid, width (Narrow/Medium/Wide), and brightness slider. Multi-place mode for dropping lights one after another. Beach cinema scene lit with a wide directional light illuminating the seating area.

Object Swap & Prop Browser

Swap Model mode: select an object in the scene, then pick a replacement prop from the browser — the model changes while keeping the same position and rotation. Prop browser with tabs: Props, Vehicles, Peds, and Favorites (bookmarked with red flags). “Speaker 1” selected with anchor point, position, rotation, motion controls, and opacity slider all visible. Bottom toolbar with full tool palette.

Settings

Per-player settings stored on the client machine (survive restarts). Mouse Sensitivity (1.0×), Camera Speed (1.0×), Top-down Speed (1.00×), Placement Distance (35m), Grid Snap (0.5m toggle), Angle Snap (0° = free rotation, or fixed degrees like 30/45/90), Corner Magnet (snap to nearby corners for alignment), and Show Labels (object names in the 3D world). Category browser on the left: Work & construction, Living space, Equipment, Weapons, Uncategorized, Environment, and more.

Schedule System

Assign activation schedules to any map with a visual calendar. Server time displayed with UTC offset. Day selectors: individual days, Weekdays, or Weekend quick-select. Time windows: All day, Day 06–22, Night 22–06, or Custom with a draggable range slider. Per-layer scheduling - choose which layers show during a rule (Barrel And Fire, Chair, Column 1, Rope 1, Row, Screen, Trees And Rocks, Ungrouped). “Preview with this rule on” for testing. Status card shows “Not live – rules are on hold” until published. Save rule and the server engine handles activation/deactivation automatically.

Export - Resource, Lua, ymap, JSON

Export your build in 4 formats: Resource (complete standalone FiveM resource with fxmanifest + spawn script), Lua (table, copy-paste), ymap XML (CodeWalker/OpenIV with quaternion conversion), and JSON (lossless round-trip). The ymap export shows object count (440), and warns when vehicles, lights, effects, or blips can’t fit in ymap format — those go into the companion client.lua automatically. “How do I install it?” collapsible section explains the CodeWalker binary conversion steps. Copy button and Export button at the bottom.

Publish to Community

Publish your map to the cross-server community catalogue. Title, author (locked to your identity), description (500 char), location (with “Use My Spot” GPS auto-fill), contributors, and cover image (“Grab In-Game” screenshot capture + extra images, 3/4 minimum). Submitting button with progress. Other servers can browse, rate, and download your creation with one click.

Good idea, even better script!

I am making similar one that creates nodes for traffic paths, mostly for custom maps that do not have the ynvs done. Yours looks way more appealing than mine does! Awesome work!
