Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? yes
Also add what you already tried so far.
Verify on GTAV install, run fiveM from multiple folder locations including the root drive, Install latest VB C+++ distro.
it runs fine till it needs to “update” then dl’s a ~1gb patch, and crashes upon trying to extract the download

I think this is first build of GTA . Are you using cracked copy ???

If not.check your game files and remove all mods
No mods should be installed, literally did a fresh install of gta. that could be the wrong version number tbh it’s just what was in the “version.txt” file. I’m able to get on gta online so i’d assume it’s up to date
