Incredibly slow connection to the server

not sure if it caused the issue but I started noticing the issue after clearing my cache

Current Issue:
Everything was working as normal until recently when I cleared my cache, which I’ve done multiple times without issue. Now when I connect to the server all the assets download incredibly slowly, talking dial up speed slow to the point where I’ll just fall through the map, other players will be invisible, modded buildings won’t appear etc.
Ping to the server is normal, no packet loss to the server either.
Issues seem to not happen when I use a VPN.
I’ve tried disabling my firewall, resetting my modem/router, opening ports, but nothing else seems to work.

Try reaching out to the server owner and get them to reach out to their provider, there’s not much you can do in this situation.
