That’s the thing though, they mention that there has been a “new” change, but there really hasn’t. It’s up to them to keep up to date with the Terms of Service. They are making it seem that the CFX are the ones who are in the wrong… But if they actually read and understood the FiveM ToS then they would have removed the service a long time ago.
Zap Hosting are the ONLY authorization to host a GSP with FiveM… They actually asked, however, GTX just went ahead and did it.

I don’t believe it is illegal…? However, the CFX can change their own ToS at any time, if they don’t like it then so be it. FiveM are very unlikely to ever take legal action upon GSP’s who don’t ask for authorization.
Back to the GTX post… They often mention about the “monopoly”, but it all comes back down to Zap-Hosting being the ONLY authorized GSP. The other issue is, GTX are having a go, but, they know for a fact the whole time that what they where doing was wrong. I, myself, have even sent support tickets to them saying that isn’t what they are doing against FiveM ToS. They often reply with a “No it’s fine” sort of thing.
After that, I removed myself from the GTX Gaming GSP’s after I realised it is not allowed, and proceeded to buy a VPS to set up my server.
Even we strongly think this kind of rules hurt more the mod itself
People can argue this, indeed they can. I know too many servers that have hosts with other GSP’s. I know more server owners with an authorized GSP then I do with an actual VPS or Dedicated server. It’s so stupid. It’s because people have no knowledge on anything, I can’t talk but, at least I can, just about, maintain my own server, I am familiar with the basic files. I am also learning a lot from our Devs.
I just want to make clear one last time, despite dozens of other hosts still hosting FiveM servers illegally, we don’t host them anymore, all FiveM files are removed and will not be distributed anymore by us to our customers.
Using the victim card, even though WE ALL KNOW that they where doing this with a violation with the FiveM ToS. They were 100% aware, I can promise you.
Anyway, with this said, GTX are really good for support, I haven’t tried their GSP’s for other games but I am assure they are as reliable as they where when they had the FiveM GSP. I would highly recommend them as a GSP and have gained a lot of respect now that they have completely removed everything from their services to do with FiveM. Props to them
