I think it’s wrong for us to figure out what’s causing this, we’re not programmers the like, we do not know how the banning system is done much less let’s know what is causing these banishes in mass. As a company, I believe that they should work together and help us find out because it really does not make sense for us to solve a problem that we do not even know the causes of and are occurring in different countries. I think the Five M programmers could organize themselves and try to figure out what’s causing these bans, it’s kind of ignorant of you to ask ourselves to find out what’s going on. Like any organization and company, you could help us in a right way and not speculate on why.

And it really is annoying if those banishes keep happening, a lot of people need the Five M, I do not use anything wrong and I have never used it, the support itself on Discord asked for the prints from my files folder and did not find anything wrong, I do not know what to do anymore … It’s an injustice to us what’s happening.

The way I think it can be really valid, together all the people or the majority that is having this problem and compare together with some programmer or moderator which programs all have in common, let’s say so from there we have a notion at least of that we have to make a form to respond, something like that, create a group to try to solve together, but with someone from the Staff present or know, see if anyone can see in the Five M data system what is causing this conflict in that the Bot is giving ban, because it can not continue in this.

But anyway, I formatted my computer and hope it does not happen again, but at least I want to find a solution;

No… It’s an identifier in your system like Hardware ID, MAC, Discord, GTA license, forum account, windows account, things like that.

Okay, so I have some information for all of you. I will try to explain this as clearly as possible without too much detail as some of you do not speak English very well.

If you have odd digits at the end of your ban ID, you are what I would like to call “soft banned”.

Ban ID 2283f863-daf0-4e6f-ae7a-cffba2547fbc or f16d1bbd-07e8-492a-9a7e-a5ef63a25453 with odd digits after _ underscore: Incorrect Windows installations, probably because of a pirated (stolen) Windows installation or bad installation by your computer seller.

You have two options:

Format + Reinstall Windows
Experts Only! Perform a Sysprep - See here for instructions.

This should prevent you from being banned (again).

Anybody else with an odd digit after their ban ID, you can also try one of the options above unless you were at a LAN Cafe or used a cloud gaming service that incorrectly install Windows for you.

Do not pirate Windows. Buy a legal key from a legal vendor and install Windows yourself. You may also have been banned, because you bought your PC from a computer seller that cloned the exact same image on every PC they sold. Since a lot of you are from Brazil, one of the two cases above is probably what happened.

Also, I repeat this to anyone who sees this and uses Geforce Now. You are illegally installing FiveM on their cloud gaming service.

DO NOT PLAY FIVEM ON GEFORCE NOW!!! ITS NOT A SUPPORTED GAME BY NVIDIA AND IS PROHIBITED!!!

It doesn’t matter if your PC isn’t strong enough to play FiveM. Since FiveM is not a supported game on Nvidia, both Nvidia and FiveM are not responsible for what happens. If something isn’t supported, you are solely responsible for anything that happens. That includes getting “wrongfully” banned.

You have an even digit at the end of your ban ID meaning you are the original cheater/banned person. In your case it’s because you were involved in a cheater community.

No buts, you won’t be unbanned. Nice threat to go make a “global video” about your “wrong ban”. The data clearly shows the ban is correct.

@d0p3t I don’t really understand this, my computer was bought 2 years ago, with a legit licence. Never had any issues with it, yet I have odd digits after the _.

I was also modding so that’s why I banned but just saying the info you gave is probably incorrect.

I hope I get unbanned though I’m trying to launch my server this week.

you literally disproved the fact that the bin system is always “correct” with your post, and that innocent people DO get caught in the crossfire, image cloning is common practice with many PC Builders, so getting binned because someone with the same prebuilt cheated is a joke.

That doesn’t mean that the ban system incorrectly bans players according to what FiveM sees. FiveM doesn’t ban a real life person, it bans a player according to the metrics seen/used. Innocent people DO get caught in the crossfire, but the bans themselves are correct.

It doesn’t ban a person. It bans a set of identifiers.

Also nice use of an extreme example. I don’t think you understand what kind of identifying information is used to ban players and that’s okay.

But trust me, people with these “odd digits” at the end of their ban ids are not banned through usual methods and they can simply “unban” themselves by properly installing Windows. It’s simply a case of incorrect installation of the system by whomever did it (Edit: literally not following Microsoft instructions to do said cloning of images).

Nowhere is this done, however. The issue is with system manufacturers that don’t follow the Microsoft guidelines for deploying OS images, which is a really small minority.

Similarly, the analogy is rather ‘sorry, we don’t allow anyone with a red shirt with a skull on it in here, as someone with that was causing a ruckus, but we can’t tell who exactly because these red shirts are incorrectly made; but you can take off your shirt or put on another one and you’re allowed in fine, since we don’t have an issue with you, we just have an issue with someone who used a red shirt with a skull that didn’t correctly label their shirts’.
