Which antivirus/firewall software are you using? Windows DEfender, i don’t get any other
Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? Yes

What is the issue you’re having?
Before 5-6 days, i remove the cahce and when i get back to fivem and try to connect to server ( no matther which server i try always is the same) i get this error Downloading of https://content.cfx.re/mirrors/patches/2189.0/GTA5.Exe failed with CURLcode 56 - OpenSSL SSL_read
What are you trying to do?
I tried to reinstal fivem and gta, still didn’t work, i tried to put fivem app to gta folder still nothing, i tried to get from my friend fivem folder i put to my folder still not, i disabled firewall and anti virus restarting my pc reinstal fivem , nothing, then i install new Windows, first i install gta and fivem, still didn’t work… I was looking on many forums, many videos on yt and i never found a solution to reslove this… So can someone from here to help with this???

I’m playing GTA and GTA Online normal, without any trouble, and other games also, so i get this problem only with FiveM… IF antone know fix?

So i see there is no one know how to fix it…

i search a litle bit more on forums and i found that [CURLcode 56 - OpenSSL SSL_read ] is actualy a network issu… So there is my opinion what to do:
If you use a WIFI try to conenct with LAN, maybe you will get better conenction… I’m not able to do id because i use WIFI from my work place but if you can try it and let us know if it wotks

Hey Im getting the same problem and error on every server, even when im updating fivem at launch. Please help my internet is great it makes no sense. I also got it from epic games too

Well, i don’t realy know what to do, i still didn’t fix IT so i can’t play fivem anymore… No one here give us something.

You should try to get fivem folder from a friend and replace with yours?
