I downloaded FiveM but it does not work

Did you try to delete caches.xml (not cache/!) and try again? I do not have caches.xml so I could not delete it

What is the issue you’re having?

I downloaded FiveM by watching a YT video. I installed it and it did open, but it does not open the menu completely for example I cannot see community messages. I cannot do anything else except exit the game or play the mini game. If I do press play I cannot see servers, only the triangle on the right up coneer that does not work and I can only hear music and see the background. It sometimes works fuently, but just for the short periods of time and the text in “play” part does not disappear. It always stays there

What are you trying to do?

I was trying to play the game. I have nothing special to FiveM just the basic app that I have installed from FiveM.net. I have the actual game from Epic Games and in GTAV I did not do any modding. So it should all be clean.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

I have tried to solve this issue by watching youtube videos. I have put my GTA5 file into Steamapps file, it helped a short period of time but the issue came back. After that I changed the location in CitizenFX to the GTA5 file in Steamapps, and that helped until I closed the game and the issue camr back. I have tried other methods but none of them had any effect on my issue. Right now I have uninstalled and installed the game for three times. In my current version I have only changed the path of the file “CitizenFX” to the steamapps → GTAV. Nothing else has been changed.

I downloaded FiveM and installed. Nothing else.

What server did you get this issue on?

I had not been in any issues. I tried three different servers, but I do not remember their names. I was able to use FiveM for 15 minutes before the error accurate again.
