[How-to] Use Extended Video Export (EVE) | FiveM

Settings are fine. If you wanna export higher than 1080p then you must create a custom resolution and then set it ingame before exporting. Don’t touch the render resolution setting or you’ll get black screen.

Same thing was already explained by CTNZ several months ago:

The thing is even if I wanted to change my desktop resolution, I can’t go higher than 1920x1080.
And lowering it doesnt really help either.

Have you even read the comment I linked below my response? There are 4 screenshots and the 1st one shows the NVIDIA control panel. I even gave a brief explanation on how to do it.
Now I’ll proceed to explain what was discussed many times several months ago:

If you have a 1080p (or smaller) monitor and want to export 1440p/4K clips, then you MUST create a Custom Resolution in the graphics control panel (doesn’t matter if you have an AMD or NVIDIA card).
Once you’ve created it, you must apply that resolution before starting the game. If you do that, the game will allow you to set the ingame resolution to the custom one you just created. Make sure to tweak it through the Advanced Graphics section in the pause menu.

If you do all that correctly, it’ll work.

Would it also if i wanted to export standard 1080p video, because I really dont need 4k stuff

Yes. You don’t need to do anything if you want 1080p footage. Just leave the ingame resolution set to native and that should be it.

What does the the NVIDIA menu say?
I can’t read russian.

That’s in the custom resolution tab.

How do I get there.
I don’t have as many options as he does.

Update: its works now

I dont know what I did because my NVidia control panel didnt have that many options,
but thanks for the help anyway guys.

Hm that’s weird. I have no clue tbh.

You’re welcome (:

when i export my vid and i try to open the file it just says this:

Do your videos end up being 0 bytes size? If so, then you’re looking at the wrong place.
And if not, then try editing the preset and use a different encoder.

i was looking in the wrong place sorry, thank you so much

I’ve been using EVE on Fivem for months without any problems. However, recently I’ve been having this error VERY often. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Those errors don’t seem to be related to the mod at all. The GTA5.exe!Sub errors are mostly caused by some assets (or whatever) from some servers. Like, it mostly happens when you’re playing the game or randomly when you’re playing a video through rockstar editor.
The other ones suggest that there’s a problem with the .dll files. I haven’t played FiveM in a good while, but I’d say you could try reinstalling the whole thing and see if it helps.

Edit: Try opening a ticket in the FiveM support forum. They’ll probably help you out fixing that. Because I don’t think you’ll get a solution here.

Changed the output folder in the eve settings made sure there’s no spaces and still getting the same problem i double checked everything and went over the installation instructions again. im not sure what im doing wrong

Im exporting but my videos arent showing up to where i put it to export at. Can someone PLEASE HELP
