for ped personality, you should just be adding the weapon to either MELEE, 1H, 2H, or MINIGUN sections depending which weapon you’re doing. In your case, you’d be putting the weapon name in the MELEE sections.
Animations; for melee weapons, there should just be a default & first person animation set for it.
