How to Connect to FiveM Server on LAN from Another Machine on LAN?

I would like to connect to the FiveM server on my LAN, from another machine on the LAN, using the server’s LAN IP (not the WAN IP).

Nothing I’ve tried seems to work.

I’d have thought this would be a no-brainer, i.e. in the FiveM client: F8 → connect 192.168.x.x (which works on the server machine but not any other)?

Could be a firewall on the server machine is blocking something - or what do you mean by it ‘doesn’t work’?

I had this issue myself, I resolved it by heading into my server host’s network settings (in my case, wifi settings) and changing the network profile type to “Private”; this makes the server host discoverable on your LAN.
