How are new creators supposed to publish resources when the answer is always just “wait”?

Short version for people who don’t like reading

I need community help, because honestly this whole system feels like nonsense right now.

I want to create FiveM resources, both free and paid, and also Tebex designs/templates. I am not here to scam anyone, not here to upload low-effort stuff, not here to bypass rules. I am trying to do everything properly.

But every step is just:

wait → no clear answer → wait again → something gets rejected or disappears → no reason → read random forum posts to guess what happened → message moderators → wait again.

So I am asking the community:

How do you people actually do this properly?

How do you publish free scripts, paid scripts, and Tebex designs without wasting weeks just guessing what the system wants?

The longer story

Hi everyone,

I am writing this here because I honestly do not know where else to ask anymore.

I need help from the community, because from official places I either get template answers or no answer at all.

I want to understand how people normally create, publish, sell, and release FiveM resources — free ones, paid ones, and also Tebex-related designs/templates.

Because right now, from the point of view of someone trying to enter this ecosystem properly, the whole thing feels absolutely exhausting.

My background

I have been a web developer for around 14 years, so development itself is not the problem.

For years I have been planning a serious RP server. Not just “let’s throw some scripts together and call it a server”, but a properly planned project. I have around 350 pages of documentation for it, with systems, ideas, mechanics, economy, jobs, progression, and all the usual RP server madness.

The problem is simple: it is a huge project.

Where I live, the FiveM community is not that big, and many servers are extremely money-oriented. Pay-to-win servers are basically living their golden age here, and honestly I do not want to spend years building a massive server for that kind of environment.

So I decided to split the big project into smaller systems and release them as standalone resources.

Some would be free.
Some would be paid.
But not for crazy prices.

My idea is more like: if the script helps you, buy me a beer for it. Or four beers. That kind of pricing.

Useful resources, properly made, affordable, not overpriced nonsense.

And because I come from web development, I also wanted to try Tebex designs/templates. I have a few really good ideas there too.

So that is where I started.

And then I met the FiveM keyword: WAIT

Since FiveM and Tebex are connected, and paid resources have to go through this ecosystem, fine. No problem. I started there.

First step: Tebex store verification.

I waited around 7 days.

Then the store was rejected because I uploaded the resource directly to Tebex instead of publishing it through Cfx.

Okay, fair enough. My mistake. I fixed it.

I do not need escrow or heavy obfuscation anyway, because honestly I find it insulting when a developer sells a script and the buyer receives some unreadable goulash code that cannot be understood, debugged, or improved.

But okay, my mistake, I fixed the store issue.

Then I waited again.

After a few more days, the store was finally opened.

Great. Next step: publish on Cfx.

Cfx releases

I created the release posts according to the rules.

I read the rules.
I prepared the topics.
I submitted them.

And then what happened?

We wait again.

Okay, I understand, approval is manual. I get it.

But then a week passes.

One post gets approved.

The others? Nothing.

And the best part: I do not even get a rejection reason.

No message.
No notification.
No “you missed this”.
No “fix that”.
No “wrong tag”.
No “wrong link”.
Nothing.

The posts just disappear from pending.

So how do I know if they were rejected?

I do not.

I only noticed that after a week they were gone. Then I started searching the dashboard, searching the forum, reading random old topics, trying to understand what happened.

So my time goes again, not into development, not into fixing an actual issue, but into detective work.

Then I find some older forum information saying that if a pending post disappears, it was probably denied.

Probably.

Not even sure. Just probably.

And apparently the next step is to message the moderators.

Okay. I did that.

I wrote to the moderators.

That was days ago.

And now, surprise: I am waiting again.

This is the part I do not understand

If a post is rejected, why is there no reason?

I am not asking for a 3-page explanation.

I am not asking for special treatment.

I am not asking for instant approval.

Just give me one line.

For example:

  • missing screenshots
  • missing video
  • missing performance info
  • wrong tag
  • wrong link
  • paid resource not configured correctly
  • resource not immediately available
  • post format is wrong
  • not enough information
  • duplicate topic
  • Tebex setup issue

Anything.

Just something.

Because without that, what am I supposed to do?

Guess?

Rewrite the whole post?
Submit again?
Wait another week?
Maybe get rejected again?
Still with no reason?

This makes no sense from a creator’s point of view.

If the goal is quality control, then feedback is part of quality control. Otherwise people are just guessing in the dark.

Then I tried Tebex designs/templates

Okay, enough about FiveM resources for a moment.

Since I am a web developer, I also have some really good Tebex design/template ideas.

So I made one.

I built it, tested it, polished it, set up a demo store, prepared everything so people could actually see how the design works.

A lot of work went into it.

And then I find out I cannot publish it because the store only has demo products.

I explain that yes, of course, it is a demo store. The whole point is to showcase the design/template.

Then I get told that this is not allowed, and I should apply to the web developer / designer program. If I get accepted, then maybe I can create Tebex themes/templates properly.

Okay.

So I applied.

And now, as you can already guess, I am waiting again.

Four days so far.

Nothing.

So I am asking the community

At this point I am not even angry in the “I want to fight someone” way.

I am just tired.

I want to create resources.
I want to create useful systems.
I want to make affordable scripts.
I want to make free releases too.
I want to make clean Tebex designs.
I want to do things properly.

But the whole process feels like:

  1. Read the rules.
  2. Do what the rules say.
  3. Submit.
  4. Wait.
  5. Get no answer.
  6. Something disappears.
  7. Search the forum to guess what happened.
  8. Message someone.
  9. Wait again.
  10. Still no answer.

And then repeat.

So please, to the creators who are already doing this successfully:

How do you actually do it?

  1. How do you publish free FiveM resources properly?

  2. How do you publish paid FiveM resources without getting stuck or rejected without explanation?

  3. What are the most common hidden mistakes that new creators make?

  4. What exactly should a release post include so moderators are more likely to approve it?

  5. How do you structure your Cfx release topics?

  6. How do you structure your Tebex product pages?

  7. What is the correct workflow for paid resources from Cfx to Tebex?

  8. What is the safest way to distribute free resources?

  9. How are Tebex designs/templates supposed to be showcased legally and properly?

  10. If moderators do not answer PMs, is there any other official route that actually works?

Final thought

I really do not want this post to be just a rant.

Yes, I am frustrated. Obviously.

But the main reason I am writing this is because I want practical help from people who already know how this ecosystem works.

Because right now, as a new creator, it feels like you are forced into the Cfx/Tebex ecosystem, but once you are inside, everything is slow, unclear, and full of waiting.

And if something goes wrong, nobody tells you what went wrong.

Is this normal?

Is this really how everyone does it?

Or am I missing something obvious?

Any real advice, checklist, example topic, personal experience, or “do this, don’t do that” answer would help a lot.

Thanks.

You missed an important rule while reading the rules, don’t submit more than one topic in a period of 48 hours, doing so is an instant rejection of all topics.

What i would suggest you is that see the post of other creators which are getting approved , follow their template as a base and then as Moderator (TheIndra) said post your releases with a 48 Hour gap, and you should be good :slightly_smiling_face:
