Hi, So I’ve been having this issue for quite awhile and cannot seem to resolve it… The vehicle wheel textures are stuck at default and are not the custom ones that are advertised, I also made sure to check that the file did not contain any extra wheel files and nope nothing… If you could help i’d be so happy, here’s the link to the car… https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/2016-dodge-charger-sxt-r-t-srt-392-hellcat-add-on-replace-hq#comments_tab

Thanks for keeping these forums tidy!![]()
Checking the mod for you now if i can see some issues, one moment please

Do keep in mind though that (by far) not all single player mods are supported in FiveM though.
It actually does seem to require quite a lot of extra files actually especially to make the
mod shop work properly.
Though these files should be streamed properly server sided, but that would also
require to stream a vehicles meta file and such to make it work properly.
Unfortunately mine is to ‘big and messy’ to use as an basic example to upload for you due to lots of (own modeled) vehicles i have.
But honestly: That is 'quite a big vehicle ’ in size (MB) though, I know there are more people streaming files that big on their server, but personally i would prefer to keep the file sizes lower and more ‘game lore style’ to prevent issues and lower bandwitdth
There quite a few tutorials on the forums though (and on youtube) on how to setup proper car streams (including the meta files for the vehicles themselves, carvariations, carcols etc) ![]()
Did it work for you?
I haven’t (nor will i sorry) installed (will only install my own made or 'vanilla/ non lore breaking ones), but on my reply i have explained why it will cause issues if not streamed and set up properly.
Are you actually streaming the files or did you install it like you do in single player?
I see the wheel textures i just don’t know how to get them to the vehicle
Like i already asked
: HOW did you install the mod? Server sided (streamed?) or like you would do in single player for example?
IF you are properly streaming:
Also if the wheel textures don’t showup it means that it’s missing one of the YTD files,
NOTE!: I have noticed that if it refers to textures which are already ingame standard (like vehshare_army.ytd for example) and thus NOT supplied with a mod, that you would often still need to stream them yourself (as in: get them from the game itself with OpenIV and put them in your stream folder).
i did it server-side, could you recomend a video?
did you stream it properly (lose ytd files and such or did you stream the entire rpf file (which is meant for single player?)
i streamed it all yes
it just shows up with ugly wheels
did you extracted all the files FROM the RPF or did you stream the entire RPF file?
Edit:
Okay let’s make this easier for us both:
Can you post a screenshot of the folder/files you have added to the server regarding this vehicle?
I definitely extracted them from the RPF with openiv
Ahh okay, great!
I also noticed that it has files inside another folder:
16chargerwheel_mods.rpf
and even also has: 16charger_mods.rpf whith lots of files in the dlc.rpf
Inside the dlc.rpf are those correctly added to?
That’s the thing i don’t know how to correctly add them
they don’t go with it
I do know (for me) that it has been quite trouble some for those annoying mods that come in dlc.rpf packages to get them to work properly (while lose files often work instantly).
Hmmm looking further into it, but it uses lots of custom files, and ytd’s one moment checking if i can find a quick fix (but can’t spend all night on it though due to also being at work haha)
I understand, it would mean so much i can’t even explain though. i appreciate it
Yup, it seems that this mod needs data from all the meta files in the dlc.rpf:
carcols.meta
carvariations.meta
handling.meta
vehicles.meta (ofcourse
ahha)
So it will be quite some settingup and ‘trail and error’ before you might get it to work
What i would recommend FIRST is to check if all these files are in your stream folder and then retry
:
You can also find some of them in the original game folders if the mod doesn’t have them (find them using the OpenIV search method) and add those to your stream folder.
HOWEVER and this is IMPORTANT! : If you do no disable or either properly add the mod components (for the modshop) it might crash the game when people try to mod it! so be cautious with that.
I PERSONALLY heard that adding vehicle mods isn’t hard, but i have NO experiance in it so will NOT advice on it since i can’t guarantee it’s correct (i only use standard models or models without mods).
