[HELP] Split large .yft file into several smaller files in OpenIV

This may not be the right topic for this, however I can’t post on the modding topic for some reason.
I have a 17MB .yft file that I need to add to my server, however as the streaming limit is 16MB it crashes the user out when they try to spawn it.
I read in this topic here (Can anyone add this Ford Focus RS)
that it’s possible to split .yft files into smaller ones so that they’re under the streaming limit, can anybody provide me with more detail on how this is done?

You cannot simply just split them. You need to do some more research before you come asking. If the model is unlocked and you have zmodeler3 (and know how to use it) - you may be able to lower the poly count.
