[HELP] Server installation

I tried to install my own FiveM server but I encounter a problem when I try to connect to my database I think.

  • My server is a Ubuntu 16.04
  • I already run the server with out db request
  • I have one user with all priviligies for my db
  • I use navicat to develop my db and it works fine

And finally, I use webmin to manage my Ubuntu server

i think your database has to go through couchDB. DON’T take my word as gospel as i’m in the very early stages of learning.

Firstly, congratulations to you for reviving a 5 year old topic.

Secondly, in order to set up ‘webmin and php’ you’ll need a web server. I recommend downloading XAMPP as it’ll be enough for you to get started. Once it’s downloaded, simply follow the installation process and voila!

Now that you have your own web server, it’s a good idea to understand it (beyond the basic scope). Visit this website and spend some time learning about the possibilities and opportunities at your fingertips.
