[Help] Saving current skin in ESX

Hey guys,
i want to make my own skinscript.

I want to sort out the “buggy” clothes and thats why i writing a script where all shirts, trousers … are buyable at items.
I got it to change the PedComponents but i have no idea how i can save the skin after i use a shirt to put it on my Ped.

i trieed to figuring out how it works in esx_clotheshop and esx_skin and i found

TriggerServerEvent('esx_skin:save', skin)

but dont know what “skin” should be.
I know that the value of “skin” in the database is decoded with json
but no idea how it works.

Maybe someone can help me?

Try to do something like this to save the skin:

--Skin you want to change
TriggerEvent('skinchanger:change', "part of the skin", number of the skin)
TriggerEvent('skinchanger:change', "part of the skin", number of  the skin)
--Getting the skin
    TriggerEvent('skinchanger:getSkin', function(skin)
--Saving the skin
      TriggerServerEvent('esx_skin:save', skin)
    end)

All part of skin are in skinchager in the: local components

but i have to define like:

if category == 6 then
		skinPart = 'shoes_1'
	end
	TriggerEvent('skinchanger:change', skinPart, color)

......

is that right?

for exemple shoes_1 is the shoes itself and shoes_2 is the color

So you would need to change shoes_1 and shoes_2

and my actually code looks like:

and my question is … i have to define the “skinPart” by myself?

Its works now with saving and getting the skin.

But maybe the code isnt optimized if i have to define by myself or is there no other way to use it?
