[HELP] Retrieve body of 4xx response to PerformHttpRequest

Hi There,

We’ve just released the first version of our new resource, however there is something that I can’t quite figure out.

When we use PerformHttpRequest, if the response is a 4xx, the body value in our callback is always nil.

With a number of our APIs we return a message with some hints to solve the problem when we return such responses (for example if they’ve not provided their secret key), but at the moment we’re just having to return a generic message.

Is there something I’m missing here, or is it just not supported?

It’s not supported, codes 400 and above will return an empty body. https://github.com/citizenfx/fivem/blob/6a83275c44a0044b4765e7865f73ca670de45cc3/code/components/http-client/src/HttpClient.cpp#L114

Yeah, I’d sort-of come to the same conclusion - it’s a shame, but not deal breaking.
