when i set up a zap hosting server do i need to download anything to make it run or can i just hop right in and will people be able to join right away
Hey there!
You can purchase a gameserver which will be setup for you automatically. This means it will work out of the box without having to set anything up yourself which makes it super convenient. However, there are different FiveM variants that you can pick from, some of which also allows you to add template resources or a framework alongside your server install.
By picking the FiveM (Windows) or (Linux), you will have to add your own resources which you can do so through FTP using our guide to help as the server comes plain.
We also have a txAdmin FiveM game version. Using this, during the setup you could pick from a server template to automatically get a head start on the server. I would recommend using this if you wish to have some great resources working out of the box. The setup process can be viewed on our guide too!

thank u me and my friend bought the tx admin one we dont know if it came with a server its really confusing lol, sorry to be annoying but do we add vehicles through the tx admin menu or zap hosting menu

No problem it’s understandable that is can be a little confusing for new server owners. We do in-fact have multiple guides which goes through the process of installing resources, including vehicles, SQL files and much more.
The main resource installation guide can be used as the primary reference, but there are many more guides in that category for different specific items including adding vehicles.
You would have to access your server through FTP in order to upload your resources and also edit your server.cfg to start resources, but this is explained across the installation guides so I recommend following those to begin with.
