It’s a fairly simple explanation: The Rhino Tank takes from the Germans and the Leopard 2 line of tanks, with a hint of Japanese and it’s Type 90.
I taken a look at the Rhino Tank’s ytd, and I came to the realization that the rhino.ytd has the file tank_panels.dds, which gives the tank’s armor textures. The UBER-predatory game War Thunder has a surplus of skins attempting to recreate tanks seen in GuP and many attempt at giving modern tanks the same treatment, including it’s Leopard 2Ax line.
Not so much with GTA (but itasha liveries with GuP characters DO appear).
What these are is carbon copies of the base game Rhino Tank (named rhino3 and rhino4), except that there is additional details put onto the tank_panels.dds file to “mark” them as Oarai and Kuromorimine tanks. Currently they’re set up as addon vehicles (I don’t like replacing existing vehicles, period.) that share the very same vehshare_army and handling as the original Rhino Tank, meaning you can have them with the Zancudo camo or with a flat color provided you have a way to control the vehicle’s enveff scale. What these tanks have that the base game Rhino Tank does not is the 0_default_modkit, meaning one can apply performance and armor upgrades to the tanks.
Again, these tanks are using what is essentially the same rhino.ytd that was used in the original release of GTAV in 2013 (because Rockstar seemed to not bother with upscaling the ytd for the XB1/PS4/PC versions of GTA). If you can upscale these Rhinos and their unmapped textures, be my guest. I left the bare .dds files too…

UPDATE
Guess this is a quad pack now, seeing as I added two two more Rhino Tank carbon copies to the collection, this time marking them for Pravda (Captured?) and Saunders (Used by the US Military in GTAV). As per usual, they’re Add-on (rhino5 and rhino6), uses 2013 ytds (vehshare_army and tank_panels.dds), and have the 0_default_modkit.

BIG UPDATE
I have recently found out about the presence of a nitrous system in the carcols.meta file of GTA Online’s Arena War Update (internally named mpchristmas2018), which is present on the scarab, scarab2, and scarab3, all tracked vehicles. I am aware that the tanks in GuP have a “nitrous” system of sorts fitted onto them. So what I did is make another Rhino carbon copy, and gave this rhino, rhino10, a modified version of the 318_scarab_modkit called 10000_senshado_modkit that has the Arena War boosts that the scarab has, in 20%, 60%, and 100% options, as well as having the same performance and armor upgrades that the scarabs have (minus the visibleMods of course). That being said, a top speed of only 41MPH does make the presence of the nitrous only really useful in the few cases where you need a boost, which isn’t a lot. If the modkit interests you, I have provided the carcols and carvariations meta files alongside the usual add-on vehicle and tank_panel dds file, alongside the fxmanifest.lua file needed to actually read the carcols.meta file in the event you want to apply the 10000_senshado_modkit to the other add-on rhinos to replace the 0_default_modkit. You’ll need to modify the carvariations.meta file to have the same modelName as the one in vehicles.meta.

Also… Chihotan and All Stars Rhinos are now here. Chihotan because of the Type 90 inspiration of the Rhino Tank, and All Stars because of the presence of the Civilization Committee in GTA starting in IV. They’re named rhino7 and rhino8, and they use the 0_default_modkit.
