OVH SSD packages, $15 and less a month. (I use SSD 2 for $7/month and it works perfectly fine)

Hello,
I don’t remember exactly where I read somebody saying that most of the stress is applied to the first player who connects to your server and when he leaves it automatically assigns the host flag to another player. That means that the servers really doesn’t do much, you don’t need a powerful machine with great CPU. You just need a server that has a great Internet connection and that’s not hard to find.

1Gbps is the standard now, and has been for about 5-6 years - I am in this industry lol
Any reputable host provides 1Gbps connections

OVH is actually a decent hosting company, but speeds vary based on your plan. For example, with a dedicated server running a multitude of game servers that consume various network resources, the speeds are greater as evidenced below. @Jordan_Fleetwood is getting the level of service that he needs and that is what is important to him. To each their own…
