General Handshake Failure

Whenever I try to join any server, I always get the message: General Handshake Failure

It is really frustrating and I tried everything from reinstalling fivereborn, to reinstalling all of GTA 5, to even backing up my hard drive, and then wiping it. I have no Idea what to do so please help me. Thanks

If you don’t own the steam version of the game you need to log out of steam before launching game.
This is because of the CitizenMP Engine verification system. Hope this helps :smiley:
