Game crashing issue after update

After the latest update which my FiveM launcher automatically downloaded and installed this morning, every time I do any significant actions in a server, such as fire a weapon, or interact with another player in combat, or our vehicles make contact, my game will just freeze and crash. Is this a known issue with the latest update? As before this it was fine.
