Can Confirm 3 days ago had a game crash, same thing is happening to me, i can load in… but no loading video plays/ once i do get in, there is no ped select screen and no UI elements work. such a bummer

From your log it seems halfway into your server’s loading screen, the CEF GPU process crashed, likely due to a GPU driver error. Anything of note in cef.log?

Tuna_Terps ** FIXED**… my guy listen to me carefully… I don’t know how I managed to figure this out, because I am illiterate when it comes to CPU’s but here we go bare with me as well as I am slow

Go to your shortcut on your desktop and right click the shortcut,
Go to View file location if its like mine it will show you it somewhere like Yourname/local/appdata
highlight all the files, and cut and paste them to your C: or in my case D: drive place them in a FiveM folder you create and you should be good to go, I only noticed this because I tried to install it to my D: and when I went to Cortana and searched for it it wasn’t showing up… no idea why this happened, but can confirm once I moved it to its own FiveM folder on my D:drive everything is working again

Thanks for the reply; i missed that specific message I will take a further look into possibly updating my driver

edit* checked and GPU driver is up to date with latest version from their site…

here is cef.logcef.log (3.7 KB) cef.log (3.7 KB)

Im not following you exactly; It seems i am having a gpu driver issue and do not see how moving the location of those folders would change anything;

they are already in a folder called FiveM, have you tried to replicate the issue since you made this change ??

I updated my driver to the latest version from the website and i still have this issue…

bump - someone please help; my game has been unplayable for 4 days now

the same thing was happening to me as you described, and thats hows i fixed it, stop thinking it a GPU because you claimed that was working 3days ago… just look at it from a more simpleton ave and get your game working. i even had the exact same god damn error as you in the cef.log.

moving the fivem folder to a diff location didnt help …
