To the CFX Team, Rockstar Games, and the RedM Community:
The current 32-player limit is an extremely frustrating and limiting constraint that severely hinders the quality of large-scale RedM roleplay experiences. This has been a critical barrier for too long.
The effort demonstrated in Pull Request feat(net/rdr3): physical player extension (#3477) is a massive step forward, introducing support for up to 128 physical players and bypassing the original RAGE engine limit. We deeply appreciate the hard work and complexity involved in this extension.
We sincerely hope that both Rockstar Games and CFX will act promptly to support the community’s ongoing efforts to finalize this fix. Thank you for pushing the boundaries of what is possible on RedM!
Makes no difference, this ‘new layer of protection’ was cracked again in less than 24 hours after the update rolled out… Still no acknowledgement about it from CFX… meanwhile everyday more and more creators are still getting all of their assets cracked and leaked. As @Noor_Nahas said, also baffles me why cfx/r* doesn’t go after all the slew of leak re-seller ‘fivem shops’, a lot of them even make the claim on their websites that they’re ‘official partners with cfx’ etc… ![]()
Improvements to server enforcement don’t make much sense when half of the FiveM community doesn’t follow the rules anyway and reports are ignored. In practice, no one enforces these rules. Even if a server gets banned, it is bypassed within an hour. Frankly, it’s hard to take such announcements seriously when the reality is completely different.
Escrow wasn’t fixed,
enforcement is non-existent i have reported multiple servers for cracking escrow scripts, botting their player counts, copy right violations with solid evidence for each violation and haven’t had any answer in the cfx.support ever since JUNE which is 5 months.
I wouldn’t bother reporting servers for anything but PLA/CoC violations. They have tools for detecting decrypted assets and botting, don’t waste your time with it. Also you never get a response to server reports and from my observations they are not checked in the same order as they are reported.
Even though Escrow isn’t “fixed” (in reality it can never be fixed), there is no public tool to crack the new protection layer for 3D assets. Which severly limits the cracking of new resources as you have to find someone with the tool and pay them.
The only thing I’m not sure about is if the protection in scripts was improved, as people haven’t gotten the option to re-encrypt them.
i sort of agree with detecting decrypted assets but not with botting
some servers are botting for nearly a year now and face no consequences at all for that
while other servers work hard to build their player base others buy bots to cheat their player base
its ridiculous
That’s insane lol This should be top priority, specially considering that they forbid releases from having third-party obfustation and force you to sell through tebex.

Unless the entirety of the platform was already dumped, it seems like they’re doing just fine cracking/leaking assets.
A couple of creators, even in this thread, who have their entire stores dumped and cracked.
But like I mentioned before, it would actually be way more useful if Rockstar/CFX legal actually bothered to enforce their trademark - majority of the people doing the violations are all just blatantly using FiveM branding. All easy wins for us, but if the current lackluster enforcement is any indication, we know that won’t happen.
Yeah and charge an absolute premium in fees to ‘protect your assets’, which honestly in my opinion they’ve failed to do. And I’m genuinely surprised theres no class action lawsuit or something against cfx/tebex yet as this epic fail to do as they claim considering they pretty much strong-arm you into using their service. This would have for sure impacted alot of creators incomes heavily…
So like Gogsi said escrow will never be fixed, but it really doesnt matter if the cracking tool is public or not, assets are still being decrypted/fully unlocked and distributed daily, either on leaker sites or those scammy reseller websites. This is still continuing even after the new layer was added to the encryption.
And whatever tools cfx is using to detect these cracked assets, sure it might be catching some morons out, but it seems very easy for these guys to bypass too. And because they are usually just distributing/selling and not actually using them, they are obviously not getting caught. Only idiot end users or ignorant people buying from these reseller stores are the ones getting caught out. It just seems like the bare minimum effort to stop this to me.
I believe cfx / rockstar really just need to go after the source eg. these leaking and reseller websites and discords as they have the resources/legal team etc behind them to make some waves.

Practically, yes. As long as people have kept on to the “old Escrow” version of assets, they can be decrypted. Consider everything released before 16/10 cracked, even if it isn’t yet. Some of these groups brag about having access to the license keys and assets of 10s of thousands of servers that they can use to decrypt.

I absolutely agree with that, I think it would be easy to take legal action against some of these groups.

I’ve seen multiple servers evade their previous bans with no apparent consequences. this post mentioned stronger measures to prevent server owners from bypassing bans, but I still see servers making minimal changes to ban evade simply rebranding and changing endpoints and without fixing the issues they were initially banned for. At this point, I’m wondering whether the new measures are truly in place or if these servers just generate R* enough money where they don’t care but i really feel its unfair for everyone to be adhering to their punishments but a select few.
