FULL Bolingbroke Penitentiary [MLO]

Totally. This interior firstly was made for the large multiplayer server (fivem bans the word but it’s different multiplayer). There are concurrently playing more than 1000 ppl at the same time and the interior has been tested there before I released it for 5m. That’s what I meant by fully optimized

So, it’s not buggy is what I understood.

Are you talking 1000 players in the whole server or the prison alone? That’s quite a difference in my eyes.

If it’s “fully optimized”:

Does it have LODs? How many levels?
What’s the drawing distance? Are you using MLO unloader of any kind?
Does it have occlusion?
Does it have navmesh for NPCs?

I don’t think you understand what affect your fps in game. You can have multiple million poligons in stream which will not change your frame rate at all. Most of the fps drops caused by shadow processing. If you know how to manage light, light distance and etc, that’s basically half of the whole process. The prison does not need lods because it’s a closed system, once you there you will see interiors, outside the prison it does not load because you don’t see portals

Yes, it does. Especially, if you have not one, but several unoptimized assets in your view at the same time. Then you FPS go AWOL. Complexity of geometry in the scene does matter.

For that reason, some GTA MLOs have LODs, because they are places in the world the way they’d load the whole interior (not just geometry, but memory too) while people are having crowded scene outside too. This could result in sudden and significant FPS drop.

In your example, I could imagine some larger area such as canteen or a larger hall with large windows with bars. When approaching from the outside, while still having loaded full exterior scene, now you’d have to load in interior on top of that.

That’s why I asked about LODs. It’s not just dynamic lights.

Which seems to be working fine then. Thanks for explaining! I might buy it in the future.

Damnit Prompt. Why do you always come out with something I can’t pass up? LOL

Good stuff, definitely picking this up.

Not overpriced at all for what you’re getting like others said compared to gabz etc. It’s actually quite a good price. Great work.

Appreciate it! Doing all i can

I fully agree with you. But. I’m taking into consideration that this is a standalone sets of buildings. They are separated from towns and etc, so it works brilliant. If it was in Los Santos I ould definitely spend another month trying to lower everything down, but after testing I conclude there is no need for that.

Thank you for your feedback tho, means a lot!
