I have tried multiple versions of LegacyFuel in my server (esxlegacy framework) and no matter which version I use, I end up with the same result… I will fill a car to 100% at the pump and as soon as I pull away from the pump the fuel level drops below 50%. Issue 2, fuel never went below roughly 25% and cars would never run out of gas.
I never experienced issues like this with the esxAdvancedFuel system, but I want to have the fuel system that requires drivers to exit the vehicle and use the pump nozzle.
EDIT I just tested a few cars and whatever the fuel level was prior to filling it up is what the level drops to as soon as the car starts after filling it up. Also, fuel levels are dropping to approx 15-17% during driving but never go below that which means cars never run out of gas.
i havent yet, but i will try that and report back. i have tried several different fuel scripts and get the same result, so it very well could be a different script interfering, thats a great suggestion… i guess im just tunnel visioned and didnt think of it
ok, so update… The issue appears to be with the car hud i am using, i switched to a different fuel script and enabled the default gauge that comes with it and the fuel level on that guage is working, however, the gauge on the car hud is dropping back to pre-fill levels
that is probably what im going to try to do, i appreciate you helping out. if i can figure out exactly whats going on i will follow up on this thread incase someone else needs the solution as well.
update, i tried a different fuel script and the issue of the fuel not staying fuel after filling up went away, i swapped back to LegacyFuel and the issue returned so its apparently something with LegacyFuel which is unfortunate because I really want to use that script along with the fuelnozzle script, also I noticed that LegacyFuel is not taking money after finishing pumping
