figured it out, i thought my file was a .lua but i was a .txt
all set now thank you.

i see you got it working my fivem key binds will cancel out trying to select my left trigger as ā€œbrakeā€ obviously it works as brake but no triggering of the lights any help is appreciated

Can anyone help me.

When I press Q all my lights come on but none of the buttons work. Not sure what im doing wrong.

You have to actually set left trigger as the ā€œULC Brakeā€ keybind as well. Not just the vehicle brakes you can make it the secondary binding.

What do you mean when you say ā€œnone of the buttons workā€?

They donā€™t appear?
They donā€™t change color when pressed?
They change color but nothing happens?

Also check the server console for errors when restarting ULC.

where are you setting that? the fivem key binds in game reject setting it and i dont see it in config

Itā€™s called:

ULC: Activate Brake Pattern (Hold)

Under the fivem keybinds. The default binding is S, make the secondary binding your left trigger. It has worked for other people.

Im getting an error with one car, I have two redsaint packs that both work perfectly but when I try and add the single car to the ulc config it errors out with this :
script:ulc] [ULC ERROR] Couldnā€™t load external ulc.lua file from resource: ā€œc3agcoupebā€. Resource is missing. You probably entered the model name in config.lua instead of the resource name.

Ive tried numerous things such as following the same path style as the redsaint car packs and still the same issue. What am I doing wrong?

ULC is an all-in-one lighting controller for Non-ELS vehicles in FiveM!

Only for non-ELS vehicles, but not all non-ELS vehicles, correct?

Technically it ā€œworksā€ with any vehicle. All it does is change extras with fancy logic and automations.

Itā€™s targeted at Non-ELS vehicles with extras that change the lighting pattern.

I am having issues with ULC where lights dont turn on on a car when i press q on some cars and others i have to hold q for the lights tom stay on. all ulc luas load game build 3095
