l-redm-ui - UI Kit for RedM
l-redm-ui is a UI kit for RedM, styled to match the RDR2 look and feel. Instead of hunting down a separate resource for every menu or interface you need, you get all the common UI elements in a single package.
What’s included
- Menus - arrow-key controlled, with options, sliders, checkboxes and submenus. The player can keep moving while the menu is open.
- NPC Conversations - dialogue panel at the bottom of the screen with response selection, so you can build full dialogue trees.
- Radial Menu - mouse-controlled wheel with sub-wheels that can be nested as deep as you like.
- Text UI & Hold Text UI - interaction prompts with a key badge, optionally with a hold mechanic (fills up while the key is held).
- Notifications - stacked, with an icon per type (info / success / error / support) and a countdown bar.
- Announce Banner - large centered panel for town arrivals, job starts, etc.
- Fullscreen Warning - warning overlay the player has to dismiss by holding Enter.
- Dialogs - Alert, Input and Form (with text, number, select, slider and checkbox fields).
- Pin Pad - number lock for safes and door codes.
- Key Confirm - pop-up confirmation with a timeout bar.
- Minigames - five skillcheck variants (Skillbar, Sequence, Mash, Circle, Tension) for lockpicking, fishing, calming a horse, etc.
- Key Legend - grouped key-hint panel.
- Countdown - mm:ss timer for races, duels and events.
- Objectives Tracker - small task panel for jobs and heists or tutorials.
- Progress Bar & Circle - with optional animation and a prop on the ped.
- Chat Replacement - replaces the default CFX chat. the input line stays, but messages are no longer shown in the HUD.
Extra features
- txAdmin integration - announcements, restart warnings, DMs and warns are displayed directly in this UI.
- Theming via CSS variables in
html/theme.css. - Localization - EN and DE included, additional languages easy to add.
- Performance - 0.01 ms idle (without chat 0.00 ms), 0.03–0.05 ms with a the arrow key menu open.
- Built with React, TypeScript and MUI.
