[Free] 3D Model to FiveM Prop Converter | Drop in a GLB, get a ready resource

3D Model to FiveM Prop Converter

Getting a custom model into FiveM usually means installing Blender, installing the Sollumz addon, learning the export settings, fighting with collisions, and building the resource by hand. It works, but it takes an afternoon the first time and it’s still tedious every time after that. And if you don’t do 3D work yourself, it means waiting on an artist.

This tool does it in your browser. Drop in a GLB file, and you get back a complete FiveM resource you can drop straight into your server.

What you get

When you hit convert, you download a complete, ready to use FiveM resource:

  • The model files
  • Textures
  • fxmanifest.lua

Drop the folder into resources/, add it to your server config, and spawn it like any other prop. Nothing is escrowed and nothing is obfuscated.

How it works

  1. Drag your GLB file anywhere on the page
  2. The model loads into a 3D preview so you can rotate it and confirm it’s the right one
  3. The tool reads the polygon count and file size and shows them to you
  4. Pick an optimization level if the model is heavier than it should be
  5. Convert and download

The whole thing takes under a minute.

Don’t have a 3D model?

You don’t need to model anything yourself. Tools like Meshy generate 3D models from a text prompt or an image, and they export straight to GLB.

Describe what you want, download the GLB, drop it here, and you have a prop running on your server. No Blender, no modeling skills, no waiting on an artist.

We’re not affiliated with them, it just happens to be the fastest path from idea to in-game prop right now.

The part that matters: optimization

Most conversion problems in FiveM aren’t about getting the file in. They’re about what happens when twenty players walk near a prop that has ten times more geometry than it needs.

The tool reads the polygon count before you convert anything and offers three optimization levels, so you can see the count drop in real time and decide the trade-off yourself.

Keep most of the detail for hero props players will walk up to and inspect. Cut harder on background objects nobody is going to look at closely.

You decide, not the tool.

On your files

Your model is processed on our server and deleted right after the conversion finishes. We don’t store it, we don’t keep a copy, and we don’t use it for anything else.

If you’re working on something you’d rather not upload anywhere, that’s fair, and this tool isn’t the right fit for it.

Free

No subscription, no watermark, no card. There’s a limit of two conversions per day just to keep the a good performance for everyone, which covers most people. If you find a bug or want a feature added, our Discord is the fastest way to reach us.

Do not make an object with 580,000 polys.

If you use meshy/any AI gen tools cap out your model gens to 5k polys.

theres alot of 3d model creations softwares… tf are you talking about

Hi, thank you!

For what it’s worth, and in case anyone else was wondering: there’s no AI involved in converting GLB models to FiveM. It’s an automated pipeline running Blender and Sollumz in the background :slightly_smiling_face:

Why does it require a Discord login, this triggers my scam / malicious action alert - free shouldn’t be asking for Discord access.

Fair question. We request identify and guilds. That’s username, ID, avatar, and the list of servers you’re in, which we use to check you’re in ours since that’s the requirement to use the tools. We can’t read messages, post as you, or add you to anything. It’s a standard use of the Discord OAuth.

You can see exactly what any app asks for on Discord’s authorization screen, and revoke
it anytime from Authorized Apps.

It’s there because the tools have per-user limits and we didn’t want to build our own signup with emails and passwords, which would add even more friction. Let me know if anything’s unclear!

Better to use tripo p2 meshy is not a good ai gen

Good to know, thanks. Meshy was just the example I used in the post, the converter takes
any GLB so Tripo works the same way. Might swap the example after taking a look!
