I’ve been running into a strange forum-side bug when trying to publish new resources.
Whenever I create a post with screenshots attached (PNG/JPG), everything looks fine — but once the post goes into “pending approval”, all images disappear from the post preview.
Because of this, moderators (or the approval bot) keep rejecting it for the reason:
“Missing screenshots”
However, once the post gets rejected or approved, the images reappear and display correctly — proving that the upload was fine.
Reproduction steps:
Create a new topic in Releases (with attached images).
Submit → it goes into pending approval.
Open your pending post → all attached images are missing.
Once the post is approved or rejected → the images appear normally again.
What I’ve tried:
Uploading PNG/JPG directly
Using Imgur / Discord CDN / self-hosted URLs
Different browsers
Rewriting post text
None of these solved it — the bug persists.
Question:
Is anyone else experiencing this issue when submitting a topic for approval?
If yes, please reply here so staff can confirm it’s not an isolated case.
This has been happening for weeks now and it’s preventing legitimate posts from being approved.
Hopefully it can be escalated to the web/forum team soon.
Thanks for reading — any feedback or confirmation would be greatly appreciated!
So can moderators see the screenshots as I am having the same problem where I make a post & it is pending but when I view it in pending status, none of my images appear
When creating a draft, and you can’t see the screenshots, don’t worry about that, they can still see them. Just make sure you hafve a screenshot which is taken ingame, so people can see how it functions. Just like the OP said earlier.
