What did you do to get this issue?
I’m pretty sure it was the installation of the Redux, and Reshade mods for GTA 5 singleplayer that made FiveM not work. However, i did uninstall EVERY SINGLE mod that existed on my PC, and verified all of my files, and it came out clean. Still didn’t work.

I forgot to show what screen i get stuck on when i launch FiveM, figured this might be mildy useful

You didn’t, since there’s still a dxgi.dll in the GTA V directory that doesn’t belong there.

i would try verifying your game files and possibly not run FiveM from within your GTA5 directory.

should i move my FiveM folder onto my desktop, would that help?

and ill try removing the dxgi.dll. I didnt know that was associated with mods xD

I’ve just tried those two tips, and still have the same result.

is there anything else that needs correction inside my GTA V directory?

i got it to work! thanks man!

yo i got it to work, thanks!

Could you say how you fixed it? so if anyone else is having the same problem they will have something to refer to.

of course! What i did was first look up a clean gta 5 directory folder, use this link: https://www.reddit.com/r/GrandTheftAutoV_PC/comments/34l4s5/what_does_a_clean_gta_5_folder_look_like/ And i followed what they said. Then i verified my game files directly after and restarted my computer.

I also uninstalled every trace if anything that might be affecting any game files, such as reshade, redux, etc. And took out any mods that were present in my directory. Then i uninstalled FiveM once more, and reinstalled it onto my desktop. That’s it.

By the way, i’m pretty sure it was the reshade application that was messing with my game files, and that’s why it wast working. So my only advise, is to seriously clean your gta five directory and uninstall ANYTHING that may be affecting your game files.

Not sure if this is going to help anyone, but i hope it does!
